As I do every year over the last 13 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article!  And I’m assuming if you’re reader right now, you’re in your fantasy football playoffs, so congratulations!

I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 9 of the 2025 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running.  You’re welcome.  Again.

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

Bam Knight

RB – Arizona Cardinals – 53% Owned

He hasn’t started yet, but Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Bam Knight will be the first RB out there in Week 9.  Emari Demercado is the only other RB on the active roster, though Michael Carter should be elevated from the practice squad. Honestly, there’s no safe play here, but picking up Knight now to see how this plays out is probably a good idea in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

DET DET 2 3 13 0 4.3 6.5 1 1 8
UPDATE: Bam Knight did ger the start on Monday Night, but Emari Demarcado (7% Owned) also had a significant role, particularly with salting the game away, piling on 79 yards on 14 carries.  Demarcado looks to be 1A with Knight at 1B, but Trey Benson might be back soon-ish since he’s available to be activated of IR after next week.  Feel free to grab both for now if you need RB help.

Isaiah Davis

RB – New York Jets – 12% Owned

The trade deadline is right around the corner on November 4, and Breece Hall might be one of those who are on the movie.  Braelon Allen has an injured MCL which had surgery on and is likely out for the at least the fantasy football season.  Isaiah Davis would be the next man up if Hall is traded and becomes the starting RB in a run first offense.  He’s worth stashing in all 12-team leagues in case Hall is on the move.

UPDATE: No trade for Breece Hall, but every significant piece of the Jets defense was traded away, so not sure what that says about Hall.  Davis still worth grabbing as a stash, but not if you need immediate RB help.

Parker Washington

WR – Jacksonville Jaguars – 18% Owned

With Travis Hunter on IL and Brian Thomas going out in the 4th quarter with an ankle injury, Parker Washington stepped up to catch 8 or 9 targets for 90 yards in Week 9.
Washington looks to be ready to step in as at least the WR2 in Jacksonville, so scoop him up in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Christian Kirk

WR – Houston Texans – 16% Owned

Christian Kirk finally returned from a hamstring injury, and although essentially none of the Houston Texans were impressive, at least Kirk caught 4 of 8 targets for 26 yards in Week 9.  Kirk finished second on the Texans in targets while catching passes from both C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills.  It’ll be interesting to see if Stroud manages to come back from his concussion, but it’s probably worth stashing him in all 12-team leagues and deeper.

DeMario Douglas

WR – New England Patriots – 4% Owned

With Kayshon Boutte ruled out early with a hamstring injury, it was DeMario Douglas who stepped up to catch 4 of 6 targets for 100 yards and a TD in Week 9.  No other Patriots WR or TE had more than 51 receiving yards. He’s certainly worth your consideration in 12-team leagues or deeper, particularly if Boutte is ruled out in Week 10.

Coleston Loveland

TE – Chicago Bears – 23% Owned

This is what the Bears were hoping to see when they drafted Coleston Loveland in the 1st round of the draft.  Loveland played the hero, grabbing 6 of 7 targets for 118 yards and 2 TDs in Week 9, highlighted by a 58-yard catch and run TD where he bounced off a tackler and sprinted to the end zone with 17 seconds left. Cole Kmet exited the game with a concussion in the second quarter, which helped his target share, but he’s starting to look like the starting TE for the Bears.  With this kind of upside, he’s worth a grab in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

UPDATE: Also note that Jacobi Meyers was traded away from the Raiders, so I’m moving Tre Tucker up from 16-team leagues to 14-team league viable.
