In 2024, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 7 of the 2025 season!
You’re welcome.
As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups. Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below. Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!
Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season!

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games. They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.
Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:
- For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.
Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games. Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.
As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider. You’re welcome.
So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 7 contests.
FanDuel
Draft Kings
Yahoo! DFS
Game Notes:
- For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS. We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Jahmyr Gibbs are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week. But remember that DFS is a salary cap game. You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around. I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
- My approach to DFS in Week 7 is to get nice value across the board. Aside from Jonathan Taylor if you want to pay up, there aren’t many positions I think you need to pay up for this week.
- No “Free Square of the Week”™ in Week 7, but still plenty of value.
- The Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys game has the highest over/under of the main slate (54.5) and a spread of just 2.5, so I think there will be plenty of opportunity in what should be a relatively competitive game.
- The Cowboys’ defense hasn’t been able to stop anything, allowing the most yards (411.7) and 2nd most points (30.7) per game in the league. So, Jayden Daniels and Jacory Croskey-Meritt are definitely on my radar. Croskey-Meritt posted a season-high 66.7% snap rate in Week 6 and the Cowboys are giving up the 5th most fantasy points per target (1.51) to RBs as well as the most yards per route run (1.95).
- The Commanders have the 25th ranked pass defense in the league, so I like a surging Dak Prescott who’s had at least 3 TDs in the last 3 games but will probably shy away from other Cowboys with CeeDee Lamb potentially returning since I don’t know how targets will be distributed. If for some reason Lamb doesn’t play, then Jake Ferguson and George Pickens are solid plays.
- The New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears game has the third highest over/under (46.5) of the slate and a spread of just 4.5, so I like the potential for productivity on both sides. Both defenses are middle-of-the-road but both offenses have been decent of late.
- The Bears have won 3 in a row now and have momentum coming off a huge Monday Night win over the Commanders, so with facing the 24th ranked Saints pass defense I’m in on Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze.
- On the other hand, although the Bears have been opportunistic with turnovers on defense, they still do allow a significant number of yards through the air. So, I’m in on Chris Olave and maybe Alvin Kamara. Olave is leading the Saints in target share (32.3%) and air yards share (39.5%) by a significant amount, and the Bears are allowing the most fantasy points to slot WRs.
- Quinshon Judkins is clearly the lead back in Cleveland and the Dolphins allow the most rush yards per game (168.5) with the 3rd highest yards per carry (5.6) of any team in the NFL. Judkins had a tough time in Week 6, but has a nice bounce back spot here.
- The Philadelphia Eagles defense has been off lately, in particular allowing the 6th most rush yards per game (134.3) and the 4th most rushing TDs (8) of any team in the NFL. Next up is Jordan Mason of the Minnesota Vikings who has a 64.4% snap rate, 48.4% route rate and 88.9% red-zone rushing share in his 3 games Aaron Jones on IR.

Believe it or not, the Colts have given up the 4th most PPR points to WRs this season. Quentin Johnston is back, so there’s some element of risk, but it looks like McConkey has some momentum and upside.
- Rashee Rice hasn’t played since Week 4 last season, but he’s back from suspension just when Patrick Mahomes appears to have regain his form. I’m playing him at a discount on Draft Kings and Yahoo, where he’s priced down.
- With Tyreek Hill out for the year, Jaylen Waddle and Darren Waller should continue to get plenty of targets. Waddle was averaging around 6 targets a game with Hill and ticked up to averaging 8.5 targets and 102.5 yards as well as leading the Dolphins in target share (26.6%), receiving yards per game (102.5), and yards per route run (3.42) in 2 games without Hill. Waller has caught 4 TDs in just 3 games back, so the TD upside is definitely there. The Browns ranked 27th against the pass, so there’s some nice potential here.
- UPDATE (10-19-25): Watch the weather in the game, which may impact productivity through the air. 20-25 mph winds are expected with some rain, so feel free to diversify away from Waddle and Waller in some lineups.
- Harold Fannin Jr. was a huge target for Dillon Gabriel having 31.4% of his 85 pass attempts across the last two weeks go to TEs, and Miami’s defense is terrible against TEs. Add in the fact that David Njoku was ruled out this weekend means that all those targets will likely go to Fannin. He’s priced down since Njoku wasn’t ruled out until late, so enjoy the savings.
- Courtland Sutton didn’t do well in Week 6, but in the previous 3 weeks he averaged 6.3 receptions on 8 targets for 99.3 yards with 2 total TDs. The Giants are much more vulnerable to the pass than the run, so I think we’re looking at him returning to his average.
- On defense, I love taking value and paying down, so I’m in on the Cleveland Browns Defense against the Miami Dolphins. Otherwise, feel free to pay down to whatever you need to fit your skill positions.
Good luck everyone with your Week 7 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 8 Cash Lineup suggestions!
