In 2024, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 6 of the 2025 season!
You’re welcome.
As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups. Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below. Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!
Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season!

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games. They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.
Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:
- For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.
Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games. Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.
As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider. You’re welcome.
So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 6 contests.
FanDuel
Draft Kings
Yahoo! DFS
Game Notes:
- For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS. We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Jahmyr Gibbs are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week. But remember that DFS is a salary cap game. You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around. I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
- My approach to DFS in Week 6 is to pay up for a solid to stud WRs, mostly go mid-priced value QBs, try my best to fit in one stud RB, and mostly fill everything else with value.
- They’re not as cheap this week, but many of the “Free Squares of the Week”™ in Week 5 are still discounted in Week 6.
- With Bucky Irving ruled out again, Rachaad White will get another chance to control the Buccaneers backfield. In Week 5 he had 14 carries for 41 yards and 2 TDs, adding 4 receptions for 30 receiving yards. It wasn’t efficient, but it was effective, and this week he faces the 28th ranked 49ers run defense.
- With Chuba Hubbard ruled out again, Rico Dowdle gets another opportunity to crush the backfield after piling on 206 yards and a TD on 23 carries and adding 3 receptions for 28 receiving yards. I’ll talk more about it next, but the Cowboys @ Panthers game is set up to be a fantasy point bonanza.
- The Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers game has the highest over/under of the main slate (49.5) and a spread of just 3, so I think there will be plenty of opportunity in what should be a relatively competitive game.
- The Cowboys’ defense hasn’t been able to stop anything, allowing the most yards (412.0) and 4th most points (30.8) per game in the league. So, other than Rico Dowdle, I love Tetairoa McMillan who’s averaged just under 9 targets per game and is building a solid connection with Bryce Young.
- The Panthers have the 26th ranked pass defense in the league, so I like a surging Dak Prescott who’s had 4 TDs in back-to-back games, Jake Ferguson who’s had the most receptions (8.2) on the most targets (9.6) for the 6th most receiving yards (54.4) and receiving TDs (0.6) per game of any TE this season and George Pickens who’s become the WR1 in Dallas since CeeDee Lamb has been injured.
- The Seattle Seahawks @ Jacksonville Jaguars game has the second highest over/under (47.5) of the slate and a spread of just 1.5, so I like the potential for fireworks. Both defenses are middle-of-the-road but both offenses have been pretty hot of late.
- For the Seahawks, I like Sam Darnold and Jaxson Smith Njigba. Sam Darnold finished with the second most fantasy points among QBs last week with 341 passing yards and 4 passing TDs and now ranks 1st in yards per attempt, 3rd in passer rating, and 2nd in highly accurate throw rate. Add in that Jacksonville has given up the 6th most passing yards and the 12th most passing TDs per game and there’s plenty of room for production at discount pricing. Jaxson Smith-Njigba has proven that he’s an elite and trustworthy commodity in football and fantasy football. He’s averaging the 3rd most receiving yards (106) on the 4th most receptions (6.8) per game among wide receivers. He has over a 35% target share in Seattle and should continue to be targeted frequently against the Jaguars 17th ranked pass defense.
- I’m shying a bit away from the Jaguars, but Travis Etienne is worth considering since the Jaguars have one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL, currently putting up 145 yards per game.
- The Baltimore Ravens Defense has been one of the worst in the NFL this season giving up a league-high 35.4 points per game, allowing a ridiculous 14 total TDs in its last 3 games, and allowing the 2nd most yards per game (408.8). That means the Los Angeles Rams should have a field day on offense. Matt Stafford, Puca Nacua, Davante Adams and Kyren Williams all make for strong plays. Stafford has had at least 375 passing yards and 3 TDs back-to-back games, with both Nacua and Adams as his primary targets and that shouldn’t stop in Week 6. Williams involvement in both the ground and pass game gives him some upside while the potential positive game script provides a decent floor.
- With Tyreek Hill out for the year, Jaylen Waddle and Darren Waller should continue to get plenty of targets. Waddle was averaging around 6 targets a game with Hill and, as predicted last week tick up to 9 targets, catching 6 of them for 110 yards and TD. Waller caught all 5 of his targets for 78 yards and a TD, now totaling 3 TDs in just 2 games in his return to football. Temper expectations with a tougher Chargers defense on tap, but they’re still worth your consideration.
- On defense, I love taking value and paying down, so I’m in on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense against the San Francisco 49ers sans Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall and George Kittle. I also like the New England Patriots Defense against the mostly toothless New Orleans Saints.
Good luck everyone with your Week 6 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 7 Cash Lineup suggestions!
