In 2024, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 4 of the 2025 season!
You’re welcome.
As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups. Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below. Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!
Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season!

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games. They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.
Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:
- For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.
Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games. Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.
As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider. You’re welcome.
So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 4 contests.
FanDuel
Draft Kings
Yahoo! DFS
Game Notes:
- For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS. We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Jahmyr Gibbs are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week. But remember that DFS is a salary cap game. You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around. I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
- My approach to DFS in Week 4 is to pay up for a stud RB mostly go mid-priced on WRs and TE while finding value at QB.
- No “Free Square of the Week”™ but there’s plenty of value.
- The Chicago Bears @ Las Vegas Raiders game has the fourth highest over/under of the main slate (47.5) and a spread of just 1.5, so I think there will be plenty of opportunity in what should be a relatively competitive game. I’m in on most of the skill players on the Bears, with Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and D’Andre Swift for the Bears (in that order). The Raiders have the 17th ranked defense and just let Marcus Mariota put up 41 points on them in Week 3. Williams looked fantastic last week against the Cowboys, and I think there’s room for that continue with his top target in Odunze. Of course, the Bears haven’t been great on defense, allowing 52 points to the Lions in Week 2. The Raiders aren’t the same as the Lions, but I don’t mind if you want to toss Ashton Jeanty or Tre Tucker into some of your lineups since they’re cheap. Just temper your expectations.
- The Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Giants game has an over/under of 43.5 and a spread of 6, but I suspect the Chargers should do pretty well against a Giants defense that has allowed the 2nd most yards (405.3) and the 9th most points (27.7) per game. So, Justin Herbert and Omarion Hampton (who has full control of the backfield with Najee Harris out) are top of my list this week, and Keenan Allen appears to be a good value play since he’s averaging over 9 targets, over 60 yards and a TD each week so far. Hampton is a particularly good play since the Giants are the worst team against the run per DVOA. For the Giants, Cam Skattebo has been the sole bright spot, and with Jaxson Dart starting this week, there should be plenty of energy on offense. Plus, with Tyrone Tracy out, Skattebo should have plenty more touches, so he makes for a decent play, particularly since the Chargers allow the 7th most rush yards per carry (5.0).
- Christian McCaffrey has averaged 129.7 scrimmage yards per game this season playing almost 80% of the offensive snaps, not to mention that he has the most receiving yards of any RB in the NFL this season, and Brock Purdy is back under center this week. He’s pricy, but I like him as a consistent RB anchor on my lineups.
- Tetairoa McMillan is clearly Bryce Young’s favorite target this season as he’s averaged a whopping team-leading 9 targets and over 70 yards per game over the first 3 weeks. Now he gets to face the Patriots who have allowed the 4th most receiving yards per game (272.0), the 4th most yards per reception (11.9) and the 8th most receiving TDs (5). Watch the calf injury, but I like him if he plays.
- With the Commanders missing Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown due to injury, there should be a few more targets and carries for Deebo Samuel. After McLaurin, Deebo tied for a team high 3 targets in Week 3 from Marcus Mariota and also had some carries to his name. Austin Ekeler is on IR and Jacory Croskey-Merritt only got one full practice in due to a knee injury, so those carries might come up a bit as well. The Falcons aren’t a terrific matchup, but the Panthers did put up 30 points on them in Week 3 and Deebo should get a decent amount of opportunities.
- I can’t believe I keep going back to Chris Olave, but he leads all receivers in targets, and the Saints will likely be airing it out to keep up with the Bills. He may not have a TD yet, but perhaps he’s due some positive regression, plus he’s pretty cheap across industry.
Chris Olave Game Log Rece Rece Rece Rece Rece Date Team Opp Tgt Rec Yds Y/R TD 2025-09-21 NOR SEA 14 10 57 5.7 0 2025-09-14 NOR SFO 10 6 54 9.0 0 2025-09-07 NOR ARI 13 7 54 7.7 0 Provided by Pro-Football-Reference.com: View Original Table - Only 3 TEs get over 20% of team targets and team air yards: Trey McBride, Hunter Henry and Juwan Johnson. And guess what? Both Henry and Johnson are cheap plays across industry. Johnson is facing the Bills who have allowed the 4th most receiving yards to opposing TEs this season (229) and is averaging 6.3 receptions on 9.3 targets for 58.7 yards per game. Henry has emerged as Drake Maye‘s favorite target coming off an impressive 8 catch for 90 yards and 2 TDs in Week 3.
- Nick Chubb has taken control of the Texans backfield with Joe Mixon out and gets to face a Titans defense that has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to RBs this season. Tennessee should be behind, allowing the Texans to play ball control behind Chubb on the ground.
- Quinshon Judkins is only getting started but already has a league-leading 62.7% touch per snap rate. Think what you will, but he’s getting bell cow back treatment, and is still discounted across industry.
- On defense, I love taking value and paying down, so I’m in on the Chicago Bears Defense against the Las Vegas Raiders. Believe it or not, the Bears have the 5th most takeaways (5) and the Raiders have allowed the 3rd most sacks (12) this season. The Bears defense is really cheap and there’s certainly some upside.
Good luck everyone with your Week 4 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 5 Cash Lineup suggestions!
