Without further to do, here we go:

Week 15 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record two seasons ago, I ended last season 63.3% (178-103).  So that’s eight years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also ended up 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%) and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%) which is also eight years in a row of Locks being over 70%.  I had a rough 6-9 in Week 14 but am still 130-78 (62.5%) overall for the season.  I hit my Lock of the Week (49ers) and my Upset of the Week (Bengals), meaning I’m 11-3 (78.6%) for Locks and 6-8 (42.9%) for Upsets so far.  But there are plenty of weeks to go!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 15…

Lock of the Week San Francisco 49ers (-13.5) over Arizona Cardinals

There isn’t much to breakdown here as the San Francisco 49ers are playing the best football in at least the NFC right now with the 2nd most yards (402.3) and 3rd most points (29.2) per game on offense and on defense allowing the 7th least yards (300.4) and least points (15.8) per game.  On top of that, the 49ers have the highest turnover differential (+11) in the NFL.  The Arizona Cardinals have been better, but they still have only 3 wins and now allow the 3rd most points (25.5) per game to opposing teams.  Don’t overthink it.  Lock it in.

Upset of the Week Dallas Cowboys (+2.5) over Buffalo Bills

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off an impressive stretch most recently dismantling the Philadelphia Eagles behind an offense that has the most points (32.4) and 4th most yards (381.5) per game this season, and a defense that is allowing the 4th least points per game (17.9) this season.  The Bills had an encouraging win against the Chiefs but hasn’t done anything to convince me they’ve found their footing, so I like the potential for an upset here.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

What a rotten week last week. Going to start my bounce back by buying in on another Detroit December collapse. The Jared Goff that the L.A. Rams couldn’t wait to dump is here. And he faces a Broncos defense in the midst of a remarkable turnaround, never mind how well Russell Wilson has played. Broncos deepen the Lions slump.

C.J. Stroud’s health is in doubt and Will Levis went to another level to complete that stunning comeback by Tennessee against Miami. Titans sneak past the Texans.

I’ve had it with Arthur Smith and the Falcons. They’ve got me both ways this year and last week was an inexcusable loss to the Bucs to toss away control of the division. Well it will carry over and Carolina will upset Atlanta to kill their season stone dead.

Hard to pick a winner with Dallas and Buffalo as both had huge must win games last week and both delivered big time. I am falling on the side of the Bills because they are at home. But only for that reason. Could be one of the best games of the season.
