Without further to do, here we go:

Week 13 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record two seasons ago, I ended last season 63.3% (178-103).  So that’s eight years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also ended up 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%) and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%) which is also eight years in a row of Locks being over 70%.  I was 8-5 in Week 13 and am now 124-70 (63.9%) overall for the season.  I hit my Lock of the Week (Dolphins) but missed my Upset of the Week (Jets), meaning I’m 10-3 (76.9%) for Locks and 5-8 (38.5%) for Upsets so far.  But there are plenty of weeks to go!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 14…

Lock of the Week San Francisco 49ers (-10.5) over Seattle Seahawks

There isn’t much to breakdown here as the San Francisco 49ers are playing the best football in at least the NFC right now with the 3rd most yards (391.9) and 3rd most points (29.3) per game on offense and on defense allowing the 5th least yards (298.4) and 2nd least points (15.8) per game.  On top of that, the 29ers have the highest turnover differential (+11) in the NFL.  The Seattle Seahawks had an impressive showing against the Cowboys last week, but still lost and now allow the 8th most points (24.2) per game to opposing teams.  Don’t overthink it.  Lock it in.

Upset of the Week Cincinnati Bengals (+1.5) over Indianapolis Colts

The Bengals are coming off their best game with Jake Browning under center with an impressive overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Not only did Browning find his mojo, but Ja’Marr Chase Bengals reminded us of the fact that he’s one of the best in the business with 149 yards and TD.  On top of that, the Bengals have been opportunistic with the 3rd best turnover differential (+9) in the league.  The Colts are doing fine as well behind Gardner Minshew, but ultimately, I think Browning has found his footing in this Bengals offense and Minshew will make a mistake or two, so I like the potential for an upset here.

Joanne Kong’s Picks

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

We’re running out of week in the regular season. I don’t think there’s enough time for me to catch first place. Goal is to have less than 100 losses. Big game this week for the Lions and Bears.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Trying to catch up and starting with Jacksonville who lost to the Bengals and Jake Browning. But Joe Flacco is washed up and is no better than any of the other QBs the Browns have so I will take the Jaguars.

Why are the Vikings favored on the road against anyone given Josh Dobbs struggles? And the Raiders upturn in form has sustained under Antonio Pierce. Give me Vegas.

Buffalo has 2 weeks off and apart from the 15 seconds at the end of a playoff game, they’ve owned Kansas City. Bills revive their season by thumping the Chiefs.

Dallas plays the ultimate proving ground game against Philadelphia. They are at home. The Eagles are beat up. Dak Prescott is going for the MVP. Show me Cowboys that you are a real contender. Beat the Eagles and give yourself a chance to win the NFC East and take the 1 seed. I think they do it.
