Without further to do, here we go:

Week 11 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record two seasons ago, I ended last season 63.3% (178-103).  So that’s eight years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also ended up 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%) and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%) which is also eight years in a row of Locks being over 70%.  I was 8-6 in Week 10 and am now 93-57 (62%) overall for the season.  I hit my Lock of the Week (Cowboys) but missed my Upset of the Week (Chargers), meaning I’m 7-3 (70%) for Locks and 4-6 (40%) for Upsets so far.  But there are plenty of weeks to go!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 11…

Lock of the Week Dallas Cowboys (-10.5) over Carolina Panthers

The Cowboys defense allowed the 3rd least yards per game (275.1) this season and absolutely destroyed the poor Giants in Week 10.  They also have the 4th most yards on offense (379.1) and 2nd most points (29.9) per game.  The Panthers, on the other hand, have only 1 win this season.  Don’t overthink it.  Lock it in.

Upset of the Week Pittsburgh Steelers (+4.0) over Cleveland Browns

I’m fairly certain that the line was set before Deshaun Watson was ruled out for the season, but with Dorian Thompson-Robinson starting under center, the Browns have no business being favored.  Make no mistake, this will likely be a low scoring horrible game but the Steelers actually have their usual starting QB.  Cleveland may have the better defense, but it’s hard to win games when you don’t score, so I like the potential for an upset here.

Joanne Kong’s Picks

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

The grind is real. We’re in the second half of the season and teams are falling out of the playoffs and injuries are stacking up. There will be upsets the next few weeks as teams deal with injuries and fatigue. Once the calendar turns to December, it’ll be a full press to the playoffs.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Lost a lot of ground the last few weeks. Time to turn that around by backing the Cleveland defense to befuddle and confuse Kenny Pickett, Dorian Thompson-Robinson to avoid turnovers and the Browns to keep their improbable tilt at a division title going.

Everyone is crowning C.J. Stroud and Houston and rightfully so. They were fantastic against Cincinnati. But young teams learning how to win often struggle when they are expected to win And even with Kyler Murray back for Arizona the Texans are expected to win. The Cardinals will slow their advance to the playoffs this week.

Matthew Stafford’s return has me on the side of the Rams surprising the Seahawks again. The potential return of Justin Jefferson puts me on the side of the Vikings against the resurgent Broncos. And the Eagles avenge their Super Bowl defeat with a dominant win over the Chiefs.
