Without further to do, here we go:

Week 6 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record two seasons ago, I ended last season 63.3% (178-103).  So that’s eight years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also ended up 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%) and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%) which is also eight years in a row of Locks being over 70%.  I was 8-6 in Week 5 as I make up for a rough start and am now 46-32 (59.4%) overall for the season.  Unfortunately, I hit my Lock of the Week (Dolphins) and missed my Upset of the Week (Texans), meaning I’m 80% for Locks and 40% for Upsets so far.  But there are plenty of weeks to go!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 6…

Lock of the Week Buffalo Bills (-14.0) over New York Giants

The Giants defense has given up the 4th most points (30.6) and 6th most yards (378) per game this season. On the other side of the ball, the Giants offense have the least yards (255.2) and 2nd least points (12.4) per game of any team this season.  Yup, the Giants, made the Seahawks defense look like they rewound time to the Legion of Boom 2 weeks ago.  Plus, the Giants are unlikely to even have Daniel Jones this weekend.  On the other hand, the Bills are good.  Lock in the Bills.

Upset of the Week Houston Texans (+1.5) over New Orleans Saints

I guess I figure if I keep betting on the Texans, eventually they’ll win one of these upsets.  CJ Stroud has exceeded all expectations as a rookie QB and is setting numerous records in the process.  Nico Collins has taken the next big step forward and Tank Dell looks like a solid WR2 who could go off at any time.  The Saints have been no great shakes with the 8th least yards per game on offense (289.0) and have 3 wins against teams that have a combined 3 wins this season.  I like the potential for an upset here.

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

Wait, is this really week 6? The season is moving way too fast. Teams are starting to come into form and we’re seeing who has what it takes to make the playoffs and who doesn’t. Some tight games this week will make for an interesting pick set. I’ll be in person for the Falcons and WFT game Sunday and then home for the flexed Lions v. Baker game late. Should be a fun weekend of games.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

First things first, last week was brutal. Secondly because of what happened I’ve done a few 180s on teams. Thought the Bengals were cooked but they aren’t and their recovery that started in Arizona will continue by beating Seattle.

Thought the Raiders would lose to the Packers. They figured it out and so I will back them against the Patriots.

C.J. Stroud is the genuine article and even though the Saints boast a tough defense I am buying the Texans beating them.

Normally Jacksonville beats Indianapolis at home. But the Colts are a different proposition with Gardner Minshew, the former Jaguar, at QB. Minshew Mania picks up steam and so do the Colts.

The Monday night game is a case of who do you trust less. Do you trust the notoriously flaky and poorly coached Chargers less. Or the Cowboys who got taken to the cleaners by the 49ers and are often allergic to winning big games? With not much confidence take Dallas.

Eliminator picks: If you haven’t used Buffalo or the L.A. Rams I would use one of them this week
