Without further to do, here we go:

Week 14 Games

Ha Kung’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 64.7% record for the season, so that’s seven years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  Plus, I had a 75.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 58% record on Upsets of the Week.  I had an OK week going 9-5 in Week 13, with a total of 121-72 for the season (62.7%), 9-4 for Locks of Week, and 6-7 for Upsets of the Week.  Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping now!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 14…

Lock of the Week Dallas Cowboys (-17.0) over Houston Texans

The Texans are a complete and utter mess right now, and their one offensive weapon, Dameon Pearce, can’t help them against the Cowboys defense that’s allowed the 3rd least points and the 5th least yards to opposing offenses per game this season.  The Texans are leaving the Kyle Allen experiment behind and turning back to Davis Mills, but that doesn’t change anything.  The Cowboys look monstrous on offense as well with the Zeke Elliott and Tony Pollard 1-2 punch and the Texans defense is on the opposite end of the spectrum allowing the 5th most yards to opposing offenses per game.  Don’t over think it.  Lock it in.

Upset of the Week Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) over the San Francisco 49ers

As I’ve said, I get it, the 49ers are pretty stacked on offense and defense and seem like a really balanced team.  But Jimmy G is out for the foreseeable future and as much as I love the fact that Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy had an impressive win against the Dolphins, but I’m betting on the Bucs defense properly scouting him. Tom Brady had a Brady moment last week scoring two TDs in consecutive 2.5-minute drives at the end of the game to win by 1 point.  I think he’s got his mojo back and like the Bucs to pull the upset here.

Joanne’s Picks

Scott’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

We’re down to the last quarter of the season and injuries are really starting to stack up. Teams are also going to start lockup playoff sports or being eliminated. There are many factors to consider when picking, don’t assume anything at this point. Good luck.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Three weeks in a row I’ve tied for the best performance and as a result I am charging towards the wobbling leader.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh: I’ll continue to close in by backing the Ravens to find a way to win with Tyler Huntley in for the injured Lamar Jackson. Baltimore had to do this a few games last year as well. Pittsburgh’s improving and Kenny Pickett is starting to get the hang of things, but the Ravens are still in the playoff hunt and just sneak past the Steelers.

Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants: Pundits and fans wrote the Giants off too soon. They got a lot of players back and looked like the team that was 6-1 after falling behind 10-0. They were the better team against Washington, and I think they catch the Eagles at the right time and upset them.

Carolina at Seattle: And from the early surprise that will actually collapse file, I give you the Seahawks. They labored to beat a clearly cooked Rams team. And while the Panthers are still barely in the AFC South race they are a much better team since Steve Wilkes took over and getting rid of Baker Mayfield unites that locker room further. Panthers upset Seattle.
