In 2021, we were over 70% for cash lineups and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 14 of the 2022 season!

You’re welcome.

As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups.  Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below.  Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!

Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 14 of the 2022 NFL season!

Daily Fantasy Football

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games.  They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.

Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.

First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:

  • For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.

Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games.  Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.

As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider.  You’re welcome.

So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 14 contests, along with they’re prices.

Game Notes:

  • For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS.  We all know that the likes of Patrick Mahomes are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week.  But remember that DFS is a salary cap game.  You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around.  I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
  • My approach to DFS in Week 14 is to pay down at QB and TE and anchor my team with a stud WR.
  • My “Free Square of the Week”™ is Isiah Pacheco.  He’s not quite as cheap as I typically like for a “Free Square”, but’s still carrying a depressed price across industry and he’s clearly getting the lion’s share of carries in Kansas City.  He’s averaging almost 18 touches per game over the last 4 weeks and has TDs in back-to-back weeks.  He now gets to face the Broncos, who actually are ranked 3rd against the pass, but only ranked 19th against the run.  Either the Chiefs dominate on the ground to win the game, or Mahomes blows the Broncos out which gives plenty of clock-killing time for Pacheco to get his yards.  Either is a great game script for him.
    • If Kenneth Walker and Deejay Dallas don’t play, then Travis Homer is worth a “Free Square” designation as well.  The Panthers are 25th against the run and Homer is essentially minimum priced across industry.  Feel free to mix in Homer to the lineups above.
  • The Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions game has the highest over/under (51.5) of any game in the Sunday main slate, which isn’t surprising since the Lions have the last ranked defense and the Vikings have the second to last ranked defense in the NFL.  That means I’m on board with all skill players on both sides as both offenses have been rolling.  From the Vikings, I’m really in on Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen and T.J. Hockenson, in that order.  For the Lions, I’m in on Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, D’Andre Swift, Jamaal Williams and DJ Chark, in that order.
  • Greg Dulcich is Russell Wilson’s favorite target and Dulcich has the 5th-most receiving yards at the position since making his debut in Week 5.  With Courtland Sutton out this week, he should get plenty of opportunity.  He’s cheap across industry which gives you plenty of cap space elsewhere.
  • Christian Kirk and the Jaguars have a great matchup against a Titans defense that has allowed the most TDs and the 2nd-most receiving yards to opposing wideouts. Kirk’s 99 targets this year has quietly ranked 11th in the NFL.  Assuming Trevor Lawrence plays, Kirk should be solid.
  • Garrett Wilson leads the NFL in air yards, receiving yards, and red zone targets over the past two weeks with Mike White under center for the Jets. He’s the 3rd best WR in fantasy over that time.  It’s clear the Jets will need to throw the ball to move it on the Bills defense and Wilson should be the thoroughly involved.

Good luck everyone with your Week 13 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 14 Cash Lineup suggestions!
