As I do every year over the last 9 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article!  And I’m assuming if you’re reader right now, you won your fantasy football playoffs last year, so congratulations!

I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 6 of the 2021 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running.  You’re welcome.  Again.

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

Players I’ve suggested before that deserve a look again this week include:

And here are some new players I’m recommending this week:

Demetric Felton and D’Ernest Johnson

RB – Cleveland Browns – 9% Owned & 2% Owned

No Nick Chubb and now Kareem Hunt with a calf injury leaves Demetric Felton and D’Ernest Johnson as the next men up, particularly on a short week.  Neither excite me that much, but they’ll be getting plenty of work, especially with Baker Mayfield suffering from a shoulder injury.  I like Felton better, but both are worth a look in 14-team leagues or deeper.

Rhamondre Stevenson

RB – New England Patriots – 11% Owned

Damien Harris looked great in Week 6 and clearly will continue to lead the backfield when healthy, but he did have to limp off the field at one point of the game and did just come back from a rib injury.  Rhamondre Stevenson looked good even with Harris having a good day rushing five times for 23 yards and a TD, adding 3 receptions for 39 receiving yards.  With James White out for the season with a hip injury, perhaps we see more receiving work for Stevenson along with about 4 to 6 carries and TD upside.  That’s worth your consideration in 14-team leagues and deeper.

T.Y. Hilton

WR – Indianapolis Colts – 39% Owned

T.Y. Hilton is finally back back from his quad injury, and guess what?  He’s still pretty good.  He caught 4 of 4 balls for 80 yards, but inexplicably didn’t play in the 4th quarter.  Monitor whether there’s a potential injury, but otherwise he’s worth taking a look at as a WR4/5 or bye week sub for 12-team leagues or deeper.

Rashod Bateman

WR – Baltimore Ravens – 28% Owned

He was a first round pick and the Ravens wasted no time getting Rashod Bateman involved after he missed the first 5 games of the season due to injury.  And he did catch 4 of 5 targets for 29 yards, but had one major gaff that led to an INT.  His upside is through the roof so he’s worth a speculative stash needs to be scooped up in any 12-team league where he remains available. The Bengals are on tap for the Ravens in Week 7.

Amon-Ra St. Brown

WR – Detroit Lions – 24% Owned

The Detroit Lions will be passing a lot trying to trying to keep up in games and Amon-Ra St. Brown has 23 targets over the last three weeks.  With Quintez Cephus out, Kalif Raymond was still producing, and 5 of 7 targets for 26 yards wasn’t a ton of production, but the 7 targets are big.  Feel free to give him a look in 14-team leagues or deeper.

Ricky Seals-Jones

TE – Washington Football Team – 29% Owned

Ricky Seals-Jones was big in Week 6 catching 4 of 6 targets for 58 yards and a TD and once again was second in targets on the team only behind Terry McLaurin.  As long as Logan Thomas continues to miss time with a hamstring injury, Seals-Jones is going to get plenty of run as he’s already gotten 14 targets in two starts this season.  Give him a look if you need a TE in 12-team leagues or deeper.
