Week 10 is almost over, so we’re back to help you keep your fantasy football team competitive!

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues as of Sunday evening.

Danny Amendola

WR – New England Patriots – 27% Owned

Danny Amendola

Danny Amendola

The Patriots managed a last second win over the Giants, but not without casualty.

With Julian Edelman out, Danny Amendola got a lot more looks from a certain Mr. Brady.  In fact, he was getting a lot more looks even before Edelman went out, most likely due to the absence of Dion Lewis.  Amendola caught 10 of an impressive 11 passes for 79 yards in Week 10, and was key on several drives during the game, particularly leading to the last second game winning field goal.  Any receiving option with significant opportunity in the New England passing attack is worth picking up.  Feel free to grab Amendola in all 12-team leagues and deeper.

Richard Rodgers

TE – Green Bay Packers – 44% Owned

Richard Rodgers

Richard Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers has been a bit hit or miss, and the Packers seems to be losing a step after losing to the previously 1-win Detroit Lions.  But Richard Rodgers has seen a whopping 43 targets and managed 4 TDs over the first 8 games of the season.  And he followed it up in Week 10 catching 5 of 5 targets for 32 yards and a TD.  Averaging over 5 targets per game in a prolific Green Bay Packers air raid is worth speculation if you need bye week help or need a streaming TE in 12-team or deeper leagues.

Doug Baldwin

WR – Seattle Seahawks – 22% Owned

Doug Baldwin

Doug Baldwin

Yeah, he’s nothing exciting.  But he’s still essentially the WR1 in Seattle, and he did efficiently snag 31 of 41 targets in the first 8 games of the season averaging a healthy 11.1 yards per reception.  And in Week 10 against a tough Arizona Cardinals defense, he managed to grab 7 of 10 targets for 134 yards and a TD.  He clearly won’t have these types of games consistently, but there’s always a chance and he’s been getting a lot of opportunities.  If you need WR3/4/Flex help in 12-team or deeper leagues, he’s worth a pickup.

Jared Abbrederis

WR – Green Bay Packers – 0% Owned

Jared Abbrederis

Jared Abbrederis

One can never tell who the next option will be in Green Bay.  It’s been a bit of a revolving door with all the injuries the WRs have sustained.  And the latest hot target is Jared Abbrederis.  He caught the first pass of his career in the second quarter to total four on seven targets for 57 yards.  Of course, at least 4 others also had at least 50 receiving yards, but as I mentioned about Richard Rodgers, speculating on a piece of the Green Packers passing offense is usually worth the risk.  There are reports that Abbrederis sustained a rib injury during the game, but until we hear more, go ahead and consider Abbrederis in 16-team and deeper leagues.

And here are pickups from previous articles which I still recommend:
