In 2025, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 6 of the 2026 season!

You’re welcome.

As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups.  Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below.  Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!

Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season!

Daily Fantasy Football

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games.  They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.

Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.

First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:

  • For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.

Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games.  Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.

As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider.  You’re welcome.

So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 6 contests.

FanDuel

Draft Kings

Yahoo! DFS

Game Notes:

  • For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS.  We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Christian McCaffrey are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week.  But remember that DFS is a salary cap game.  You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around.  I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
  • My general Week 6 cash strategy is to concentrate salary in players with secure workloads, paying up more at QB and RB with at most a single stud WR and paying down elsewhere.
  • The “Free Square of the Week”™ is Germie Bernard.  At $12 on Yahoo, $4,000 on DraftKings and $5,100 on FanDuel, Bernard is one of the players making these builds possible.  But it’s not simply that he’s cheap.  In Week 5, he caught 6 of 9 targets for 80 yards, after totaling only 7 receptions for 60 yards over the first four games.  Sure, it’s one game, but it’s a big increase in involvement that should continue this week with Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve, Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek out, and DK Metcalf questionable. Bernard also played 92% of Pittsburgh’s offensive snaps last week.  At his price, he’s worth the play to help save cap space.
  • The Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders game has the highest over/under of the slate at 53.5, with Buffalo favored by 5.5, so I’m in several players on both sides.  For the Bills, I really like Josh Allen, James Cook and Khalil Shakir, in that order, while for the Raiders, I like Kurt Cousins and Brock Bowers.
    • Josh Allen is expensive, but the rushing production explains why I’m willing to consider paying up. Through five games, he has 1,249 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns, supplemented by 239 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns. He’s scored on the ground in every game, including a 121-yard rushing performance against the Rams in Week 5.  The matchup is also a good one: Las Vegas just allowed 374 passing yards and four passing touchdowns to Drake Maye.
    • Through five games, James Cook has 532 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns on 95 carries, including 25 carries for 111 yards and two scores in Week 5.  He has cleared 100 rushing yards three times.  I like the rushing production and I think he may benefit a little from a positive game script.
    • Khalil Shakir has 10 catches for 162 yards over the last two games, following seven catches for 82 yards in Week 4 with three catches for 80 yards in Week 5. At $5,300 on DraftKings and $5,900 on FanDuel, that makes him a workable mid-priced receiver.  Buffalo’s Friday report lists DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer as questionable with shoulder injuries.  Both missed Week 5, so their availability remains important to evaluating how much passing-game opportunity Shakir might receive.  I like Shakir more if at least one of Moore and Palmer are out but think he can find his way to reasonable opportunity for the price.
    • Kurt Cousins and Brock Bowers are the negative game script play where I expect the Raiders to have to play catchup throughout.  Bowers is Cousins’ top target and is worth the premium if you have the cap space.
  • The Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons game has the second highest over/under of the slate at 52.5, with Chicago favored by 1.5, so I’m in several players on both sides there as well.  For the Bears, I really like D’Andre Swift, while for the Falcons, I like Drake London and Bijan Robinson.
    • D’Andre Swift, at $6,600 on FanDuel, is reasonable affordable and allows you get some more expensive pieces in. Swift has 468 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns through five games, with at least 73 scrimmage yards in every outing. His 14 receptions for 114 yards have also contributed to that consistency.  With Kyle Monangai out again, Swift you get the lions-share of touches out of the backfield this week.
    • Drake London is a decent receiver spend-up at $7,000 on Draft Kings. His last three games have produced 21 receptions for 408 yards on 27 targets, including outings of 194, 96 and 118 receiving yards. Importantly, he has done that without even scoring a touchdown.  That production with touchdown upside is worth the price.
    • I don’t have to convince you to play Bijan Robinson, do I?  That being said, he’s really expensive, so sprinkle him in if you’d like, but I’m typically paying up elsewhere.
  • The Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams game has the third highest over/under of the slate at 51.5, but I’m in mostly in on just the Rams, in particular, Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, Tyler Higbee and Davante Adams, in that order.
    • Matthew Stafford offers a reasonable bargain.  His last four passing-yard totals are 327, 390, 317 and 383, and he threw three touchdowns against Buffalo in Week 5. He has attempted 160 passes over the last three games, giving us a substantial recent sample of passing volume rather than one unusually busy afternoon.
    • Kyren Williams is one of my favorite pieces across these builds, particularly at $6,800 on DraftKings. Through five games, he has 543 scrimmage yards and five total touchdowns, including 27 receptions for 200 yards. His reception totals over the last three weeks are six, 10 and six, and he has averaged 23 touches over that stretch.  The receiving involvement gives him another way to contribute when the running game isn’t efficient.  At $8,100 on FanDuel and $38 on Yahoo, he requires more investment, but on Draft Kings, I’m especially interested in getting those recent reception totals at this price.

    • Puka Nacua is the premium piece, but he’s worth it.  Over the last two games, he has 26 catches for 263 yards on 36 targets.  Week 5 alone produced 17 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown on 24 targets.  Twenty-four targets is less a game plan than a group project where one guy does all the work.
    • Tyler Higbee offers a nice discount on DraftKings at $3,400, along with prices of $13 on Yahoo and $5,000 on FanDuel.  His last three receiving lines are 8–62–1, 5–67–0 and 5–83–0.  That’s 18 receptions for 212 yards on 23 targets, with at least five catches and 62 receiving yards in each game.  Higbee’s recent contribution hasn’t depended entirely on catching a short touchdown and otherwise disappearing.
  • Derrick Henry has carried the ball at least 23 times in four of five games, totaling 113 carries for 476 yards and seven rushing touchdowns, plus a receiving touchdown.  In Week 5, he delivered 102 rushing yards on 24 carries and added a touchdown reception.  At $8,200 on DraftKings and $9,100 on FanDuel, I’m paying for the combination of substantial rushing volume and demonstrated scoring involvement.  He keeps defying time and there’s no reason to bet against him at this point of the season.
  • Kenneth Walker has played only four games because Kansas City had its bye in Week 5, and he has already accumulated 537 rushing yards, 84 receiving yards and 6 total touchdowns.  His most recent outing featured 22 carries for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he has handled at least 18 carries in every appearance.  That’s a strong recent workload behind the $8,500 DraftKings and $8,900 FanDuel salaries.  I’m not assuming another 177 rushing yards, but I don’t have to assume that to like a player receiving this much work.
  • Rashee Rice’s absence makes Xavier Worthy particularly interesting at $4,600 on DraftKings, with $16 on Yahoo and $6,100 on FanDuel also workable.  Kansas City has ruled Rice out with hamstring/knee issues and the Chargers will also be without defensive backs Derwin James and Donte Jackson.  In Week 4 before the bye, Worthy netted 4 catches for 70 yards on 7 targets.  Rice’s targets don’t automatically arrive in Worthy’s locker with a forwarding address, but the absence increases his opportunity, and the price doesn’t require a monster game.
  • Isaiah Likely has 33 catches for 284 yards and 4 touchdowns through five games.  More recently, he has received 25 targets over two games, catching 18 passes for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. That includes an 11-catch Week 5 performance.  At $4,800 on DraftKings and $5,500 on FanDuel, he’s a solid tight end play backed by recent targets.
  • On defense, I love taking value and paying down, so I’m in on the Indianapolis Colts Defense against the Tennessee Titans for minimum pricing on Yahoo DFS, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense against the Pittsburgh Steelers on FanDuel and the New Orleans Saints Defense against the New York Giants on both Draft Kings and FanDuel.

Good luck everyone with your Week 6 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 7 Cash Lineup suggestions!
