In 2025, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 4 of the 2026 season!
You’re welcome.
As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups. Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below. Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!
Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season!

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games. They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.
Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:
- For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.
Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games. Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.
As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider. You’re welcome.
So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 4 contests.
FanDuel
Draft Kings
Yahoo! DFS
Game Notes:
- For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS. We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Christian McCaffrey are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week. But remember that DFS is a salary cap game. You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around. I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
- My approach to DFS in Week 4 is to go mid-price on QB, get value at RB and WR based on the injury opportunities, and pay up at TE with a punt at defense.
- The “Free Square of the Week”™ is Braelon Allen. Breece Hall has been ruled out with a quad injury, creating a substantially different opportunity from the backup role reflected in Allen’s early-season production. Through three games, Allen has only 19 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown, plus four receptions, but with Hall unavailable, Allen has a path to considerably more carries and some receiving work at a manageable salary, which is precisely the kind of player who makes the expensive pieces fit.
- The Green Bay Packers face an undermanned Tampa Bay Buccaneers that is decidedly middle of the road defending the pass allowing a 93.4 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks. And now Tampa Bay will be without cornerback Benjamin Morrison and edge defender Rueben Bain Jr., which helps the matchup. Jordan Love has thrown 2 touchdown passes in each of the first three games, with 844 passing yards and 124 attempts overall. His passing-yard totals—387, 145 and 312—have varied considerably, but the touchdown production has remained consistent. I like his chances to have a 2-touchdown floor with some passing yards upside for a very reasonable price tag across industry.

That leaves a lot of receiving responsibility to redistribute. Wicks has already produced 9 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown, including 5 catches for 74 yards in Week 2. He isn’t an unknown reserve whose entire résumé consists of looking fast during preseason warmups. I expect his opportunity to improve with those absences, which makes him a great play at his near minimum pricing across industry.
- The Minnesota Vikings get to face the floundering Miami Dolphins defense that’s allowed the 5th most points this season. The Vikings haven’t been great at accruing fantasy points, but I’m in on Aaron Jones and Jordan Addison. Jones has followed a 12-carry opener with 23 carries for 105 yards in Week 2, then 17 carries for 58 yards plus five catches for 34 yards in Week 3. That’s 23 and 22 touches in his last two games. With Jordan Mason on injured reserve, Jones is the clear bell cow in the backfield. Addison’s first three games show the progression we want to see: two targets in Week 1, five in Week 2 and nine in Week 3. That last outing produced five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Now Justin Jefferson is out with an ankle injury. Addison doesn’t automatically receive every target Jefferson would have earned, but his path to being a primary receiving option against Miami becomes substantially clearer. The salary remains reasonable, the recent involvement is increasing, and the injury news supports more opportunity.
- The Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cincinnati Bengals game has the highest over/under of the main slate (51.5) with the Bengals favored by just 2.5, so I’m in on most of the skill players here, including Trevor Lawrence, Parker Washington and Bayshul Tuten of the Jaguars and Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals. Lawrence has thrown 7 touchdowns and 616 passing yards through three games, so he’s been fairly productive every Sunday. I like the combination of touchdown production, price and a game that could require Jacksonville to keep scoring. Washington’s receiving lines have been 5–83–1, 7–98–0 and 3–40–1, totaling 15 catches, 221 yards and 2 touchdowns. That’s significant involvement across all three games, not just one random long reception at a time. The Bengals players are as attractive, but more premium pricing, so they may be harder to fit in.
- Zay Flowers has been productive despite limited availability: five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, a missed Week 2, and five catches for 84 yards in Week 3, when Baltimore limited his playing time. The encouraging development is that he returned to full practice Thursday. Friday’s limited participation was attributed to rest, and the Ravens’ reporting suggests he could be closer to full participation Sunday. Keep an eye on his status though in case he’s ruled out.
- Since I have the cap space, I’m paying up at tight end this week.
- Travis Kelce has posted 3–71–0, 9–101–1 and 2–59–1, giving him 14 catches, 231 yards and two touchdowns. The reception totals have fluctuated, but he has delivered at least 59 receiving yards in every game. His FanDuel price is particularly low, so I like him best there.
- George Kittle rebounded from a quiet opener with 4 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in Week 2, then 6 for 82 and two touchdowns in Week 3. That’s 10 receptions for 162 yards and three scores over the last two games. We shouldn’t assume another multi-touchdown performance, but the increased receptions and consecutive 80-yard outings support him as a reasonably priced alternative.
- Brock Bowers missed the opening two games, then returned with 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. That’s only one game, but it’s a persuasive demonstration of how heavily Las Vegas can involve him. The price is higher across industry, but so is the appeal of that reception-heavy role. Bowers is my favorite premium tight end option.
- On defense, I love taking value and paying down, and one of the better defenses of the weekend, the Green Bay Packers Defense against the Jalon Daniels helmed Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his first start should make for a decent play for minimum salary on Yahoo. For FanDuel and Draft Kings, I like playing the New York Jets Defense and Chicago Bears Defense facing each other, as both teams have injuries that should reduce scoring and increase opportunities for opposing defense to accrue fantasy points.
Good luck everyone with your Week 4 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 5 Cash Lineup suggestions!
