In 2024, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 14 of the 2025 season!
You’re welcome.
As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups. Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below. Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!
Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season!

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games. They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.
Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:
- For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
- For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.
Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games. Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.
As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider. You’re welcome.
So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games and player props for Week 14 contests.
FanDuel
Draft Kings

Game Notes:
- For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS. We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Jahmyr Gibbs are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week. But remember that DFS is a salary cap game. You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around. I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
- My approach to DFS in Week 14 is to take one of two approaches: anchor my lineup with Josh Allen and get value elsewhere or anchor my team with 2 stud RBs and go cheaper at QB with value elsewhere.
- No “Free Square of the Week”™ but there’s plenty of quality value this week, like Devin Neal, Adonai Mitchell and Christian Watson.
- Neal played 86% of the snaps after Alvin Kamara went out in Week 12 and followed up on Week 13 without Kamara with 14 carries for 47 yards and 3 receptions for 22 receiving yards. He’s still very cheap and has TD upside facing the 21st ranked Buccaneers run defense.
- Mitchell appears to be the primary target for the Jets and he managed to break out in Week 13 catching 8 of 12 targets for 102 yards and a TD. The Dolphins are most vulnerable through the air being ranked just 27th against the pass, so he’s a great value punt.
- No one can tell you which WR in Green Bay will go off game to game, but Watson appears to be the most consistent, trending up from 5 targets to 10 targets over the last 3 games, plus catching 3 TDs in that span. The Beras are more vulnerable through the air as well being ranked 15th against the pass, so there’s potential here.
- The Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills has the highest over/under of the slate (53.5), and there’s lots of options, but mostly expensive. For the Bengals, I like Ja’Marr Chase and Chase Brown. Chase is by far Joe Burrow’s favorite target but is pretty expensive this week, and Tee Higgins is back. If you can fit him in, go for it, but I’m preferring all the WR value this week to pay up for RBs. Chase Brown has a great matchup, as I discussed on the newest podcast, so I like him this week. I actually like the Bills a little more in this matchup as the Bengals have one of the worst defenses in the NFL (giving up the most fantasy points to RBs this season), which means I’m on board with Josh Allen and James Cook. Both are expensive, but I prefer paying up here with the opportunity and matchup.
- As I said last week, “I Just Can’t Quit the Cardinals” should be the name of my DFS biography, and this week is no different. The Rams 8th ranked defense is going to be a tougher matchup, but they just got burnt by the Panthers, and the Cardinals offensive skill players just keep firing away all game long, so I’m in on Jacoby Brissett, Michael Wilson and Trey McBride, particularly with Marvin Harrison out. In 7 starts this season, Brissett is averaging 313 passing yards and just under 2 passing TDs. Add in a rushing TD in Week 9 and a handful of rush yards per week that’s some serious upside for price that’s starting to creep up but remains strangely reasonable across industry. Wilson was terrific without Harrison in the lineup, having caught 25 of 33 targets for 303 yards in two games, and gets depressed pricing this week, and McBride has had a banner season either way, so both are high on my list.
- One of my favorite pay-up plays this week is again De’Von Achane. Achane has been insanely good recently, averaging a whopping 174.6 total yards per game over his last three. He’s averaged just under 22 carries per game over that stretch, which is the most he’s got this season, and he gets plenty of targets in the passing game. The floor and ceiling are high against a 27th ranked Jets defense, so lock him in if you can afford it.
- The Broncos are on my radar facing the Raiders 30th ranked defense which is 7th worst against the pass and 2nd worst against the run. The Raiders Defense allows the 7th most points per game (25.7) and I don’t see how the Broncos don’t take advantage, which means I like Courtland Sutton and RJ Harvey, who are both reasonably priced across industry.
- At TE, it’s hard not to look at Tyler Warren against the Jaguars who struggle against TEs. Daniel Jones is passing the ball more and running less, probably due to his fibula fracture, meaning more quality targets for Warren, who managed to snag his 4th TD in Week 13.
- On defense, I love taking value and paying down, so I’m in on the Miami Dolphins Defense against the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense against the New Orleans Saints.
Good luck everyone with your Week 14 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 15 Cash Lineup suggestions!
