Week 7 Games
Ha Kung Wong’s Picks
Ha Kung’s Thoughts:
After a 64.7% record four seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) three seasons ago and 63.4% (180-104) two seasons ago, I ended up at a whopping 68.8% last season, my best season yet. So that’s ten years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. I also had 84% right for Locks of the Week (16-3) and 44.4% for Upsets of the Week (8-10), so not only did I meet my 2023 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have ten years in a row of Locks being over 70%. But that was the past, and this is now, and I’m shooting for eleven in a row for both!
Had a decent week going 10-5, leaving me 60-32 for the season (65.2%), hitting my Lock (5-1) and missing my Upset (1-5). Let’s move on to my Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 7…
Lock of the Week ➡ Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) over Las Vegas Raiders
Looks like the Chiefs are back and probably on track for that postseason run we all thought they would have. On the other side is the inconsistent Raiders, who allow the 10th most points per game (24.8) and has the 4th worst turnover ratio (-4) in the NFL. Plus, the Chiefs get Rashee Rice back this week. Sometimes you don’t need much analysis to figure it out. Lock it in.
Upset of the Week ➡ Atlanta Falcons (+2.0) over San Francisco
The Falcons are on a roll after beating the Buffalo Bills, plus they have the 2nd most total yards per game (378.8) and the 9th best turnover ratio (+3). The 49ers are no slouch, but both Brock Purdy and Mac Jones have injuries, so I’m not confident they’ll be 100% in Week 7, not to mention they have the 3rd worst turnover ratio (-5) in the NFL. You just can’t make that many mistakes when you have mostly backups playing. I wouldn’t be surprised by the upset.

Scott’s Thoughts:
Grinding out the weeks this season. Just middle of the pack. Hopefully things start to settle in for me.

George’s Picks
George’s Thoughts:
Didn’t get 1 primetime game right last week but still alive in the eliminator.
Let’s start in London with Rams-Jaguars. Jacksonville’s London record is pretty good and the injury bug has hit the L.A. Rams hard. Jaguars bounce back in Old Blighty.
Indianapolis at L.A. Chargers: I am still not a Daniel Jones believer and the Chargers stabilized themselves in Miami without playing great. And they’ve found another good running back in Kimani Vidal. Take the Chargers
Washington at Dallas: Quite simply whoever has the ball last is going to win. And unfortunately I think that’s Dallas.
Atlanta at San Francisco: Picking the Falcons to back up a great performance like the one they had against the Bills. But I am going to do it in part because no team is as beat up as the 49ers
Eliminator pick: Kansas City (unless you are in a survivor pool where you need to save them for Thanksgiving/Black Friday, then Chicago)
