As I do every year over the last 13 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article!  And I’m assuming if you’re reader right now, you’re in your fantasy football playoffs, so congratulations!

I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 4 of the 2025 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running.  You’re welcome.  Again.

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

Jaxson Dart

QB – New York Giants – 23% Owned

The future is here for the Giants.  Rookie Jaxson Dart finally got the start over rethread Russell Wilson and led the Giants to a shocking win over the once undefeated Chargers, completing 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and a TD, while adding 54 rushing yards and a rushing TD on 10 carries.  Unfortunately, Malik Nabers is likely to be out for the season with what appears to be an ACL injury, but Dart looked good even without Nabers.  Feel free to pick him up in 14-team leagues or deeper, or any two QB leagues.

Woody Marks

RB – Houston Texans – 30% Owned

Nick Chubb started for the Texans in the backfield, but Woody Marks ended up the leading rusher carrying the ball 17 times for 69 yards and a TD, adding 4 receptions for 50 receiving yards and a receiving TD.  Marks had 21 total touches to Chubb’s 15, and he out-gained Chubb 119-62.  This is likely to be a full-blown committee for now, but Marks is moving on up.  Pick him up in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Wan’Dale Robinson & Darius Slayton

WR – New York Giants – 49% & 2% Owned

As I mentioned above, Malik Nabers is likely out with an ACL injury for the remainder of the season, so it’s important to take a look at who new starting QB Jaxson Dart has been targeting.  I already mentioned Wan’Dale Robinson previously, but he ended up with most targets (5), so if he’s still there, get him in all 12-team leagues or deeper.  But if you miss on Robinson, Darius Slayton also got 4 targets and probably will seem more as the season progresses, so pick him up in all 14-team leagues or deeper.

Tyquan Thornton

WR – Kansas City Chiefs – 31% Owned

I wanted to wait to see what the targets would look like with Xavier Worthy back before anointing Tyquan Thornton a worthy pickup, but it looks like nothing stops Patrick Mahomes from targeting Thornton in scoring opportunities.  He was only 1 of 2 for 11 yards and TD, but that’s with an almost full receiving core available.  And keep in mind that he’s had a TD in 3 games straight now.  He won’t be consistent, but he’s worth a look in 14-team leagues or deeper as a bye week replacement or WR3/Flex.

Tyquan Thornton Game Log
Rece Rece Rece Rece Rece
Date Team Opp Tgt Rec Yds Y/R TD
2025-09-21 KAN NYG 9 5 71 14.2 1
2025-09-14 KAN PHI 5 2 59 29.5 1
2025-09-05 KAN LAC 4 2 41 20.5 0

Dalton Schultz

TE – Houston Texans – 19% Owned

Dalton Schultz is averaging 5 targets a game over the first 4 weeks after catching 5 of 6 targets for 30 yards in Week 4.  He’s but blowing the doors off, but he’s consistently being targeted with some TD upside, so feel free to pick him up in all 14-team leagues or deeper.

Tommy Tremble

TE – Carolina Panthers – 0% Owned

With Ja’Tavion Sanders out due to injury, Tommy Tremble stepped in as the lead TE in Carolina and managed to catch 5 of 8 targets for 42 yards and a TD.  It’s likely that the Panthers will continue to play from behind so Tremble will likely continue to remain involved.  Pick him up in all 14-team leagues or deeper.

UPDATE for Monday Night Football

Malik Washington

WR – Miami Dolphins – 4% Owned

Tyreek Hill had a gruesome dislocated knee in the 3rd quarter and is likely out for a significant amount of time.  That leaves Jaylen Waddle as the de facto WR1 but leaves WR2 wide open.  In should step Malik Washington.  He’s averaged about 4 targets and 2 carries a week so far, and if that ticks up by 2-3 targets, he’ll enter the WR3/Flex conversation.  So stash him in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Darren Waller

TE – Miami Dolphins – 7% Owned

Darren Waller took a year off and finally shrugged off an injury for his first start of the season, and it didn’t take long for him to leave a mark.  He managed to catch 3 of 4 targets for 27 yards and 2 TDs.  As mentioned above, with Hill out, there may be a few more targets to go around, and Waller looks to be Tua’s favorite endzone target, so feel free to stash him up in all 12-team leagues or deeper to see how this shakes out.
