We normally give you our player prop bets in our weekly “Scares & Dares” podcast episode, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get you this week’s episode in time.  For that, we’re sorry.

But we can’t leave you hanging on winning money in Week 17 of the NFL, so here’s a special edition “Just the Dares!” with our picks for Week 17!  You’re welcome.😎

Ha Kung’s Picks

  • Kyren Williams gets to face the Giants who are just 29th against the run.  Williams quietly has the most carries (18.9) for the most rush yards (96.09) and 5th most rushing TDs (0.81) per game in the league among all RBs.  Williams has exceeded 100 rush yards in 3 straight games and the Giants allow 134.2 rush yards per game, so I like the odds here.  Spoiler alert, 96.09 and 134.2 are more than 91.5.
    • I’m picking Williams to go OVER 91.5 rush yards.
  • The Eagles are at home and favored by 11 points, so there should be plenty of running plays for D’Andre Swift.  Swift had 18 carries for 74 rush yards against the Seahawks 26th ranked run defense in Week 15 and 20 carries for 92 yards and a TD against the Giants 28th ranked run defense in Week 16.  The Cardinals defense is ranked LAST against the run, and they’ve allowed the most rush yards to opposing RBs this season (147.0), so I don’t see any of this changing.
    • I’m picking Swift to go OVER 66.5 rush yards.
Joanne’s Picks

  • Christian McCaffrey has found new life with the San Francisco 49ers, seeking a Super Bowl opportunity. With the 2nd worst passing defense and the 10th worse rushing defense in the league going into week 17, McCaffrey, who is the rushing leader in the league with 1,395 rushing yards and 537 receiving yards should easily meet 127 yards against Washington. Coming into the week with a loss against Baltimore, the 49ers should be looking for some revenge, even if it’s against Washington.
    • I’m picking McCaffrey to go OVER 126.5 total rushing and receiving yards.
  • The Cincinnati defense is ranked 5th worst against the pass going into week 17.  Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs has been struggling in the latter half of the season, but against a team that has now forgone the post season, and has allowed Mason Rudolph to have 290 passing yards, should have Kansas City leaving week 17 with a victory and over 267 passing yards.
    • I’m picking Mahomes to go OVER 266.5 passing yards.
