As I do every year over the last 11 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article!  And I’m assuming if you’re reader right now, you’re in your fantasy football playoffs, so congratulations!

I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 4 of the 2023 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running.  You’re welcome.  Again.

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

Jaylen Warren

RB – Pittsburgh Steelers – 55% Owned

Honestly, Najee Harris did do much better in Week 4, but Jaylen Warren still managed to have 8 carries for 29 yards and caught all 6 of his targets for 26 yards.  It’s not a lot of yards, but 14 touches was a season high and he had double digits in 3 straight games. With Kenny Pickett out with a knee injury, it’s possible that Mitch Trubisky will start under center, and it looked like Trubisky was good at 2 things – handing the ball to Warren and throwing the ball short to Warren.  He’s worth a pickup in 12-team leagues or deeper.

Jaylen Warren Rushing & Receiving Stats
Rush Rush Rush Rece Rece Rece Rece Rece

2 PIT 6 20 0 6 4 66 0 66.7%
3 PIT 8 29 0 4 3 23 0 75.0%
17 55 0 16 12 101 0 75.0%

Jaleel McLaughlin

RB – Denver Broncos – 2% Owned

Javonte Williams went out with a hip injury, and Jaleel McLaughlin stepped in to the tune of 7 carries for 72 yards and 3 catches for 32 yards and a TD.  He was impressive in the preseason and head coach Sean Payton really likes him, so even if Williams returns next week, he may get a lot more work moving forward.  Into Week 4, the Broncos targeted its running backs at the league’s 3rd highest rate.  He’s worth stashing in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Romeo Doubs

WR – Green Bay Packers – 54% Owned

At a certain point you just have to believe, and we’ve seen Romeo Doubs be productive without and now with Christian Watson on the field.  He managed to grab 9 of a whopping 13 targets for 95 yards in Week 4, leading the Packers in receptions, receiving yards and targets.  Regardless of who else is out there, go grab him in all 10-team leagues or deeper.

Tyler Boyd

WR – Cincinnati Bengals – 37% Owned

With Tee Higgins going out with a rib fracture, Tyler Boyd became the de facto WR2 in Cincy managing to catch 4 of 7 targets for 26 yards in a Week 4.  Don’t look at the yards, the entire Bengals passing offense was crap.  The targets are what I’m looking at, as it was 2nd on the team.  And in the first 3 games of the season, Boyd caught 13 of 20 targets for 101 yards.  With all those targets, he’s worth picking up in 12-team PPR leagues and deeper.

Michael Wilson

WR – Arizona Cardinals – 1% Owned

Michael Wilson caught 7 of 9 targets for 161 yards over his first 3 games and had caught all 4 targets through the 3rd quarter in Week 4 for 61 yards and 2 TDs.  Josh Dobbs likes him and although he’s not getting tons of targets, he’s getting plenty of yards from them and is worth a look in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Terrace Marshall Jr.

WR – Carolina Panthers – 0% Owned

Jonathan Mingo was out with a concussion in Week 4, which let former prospect Terrace Marshall Jr. catch 9 of 10 targets for 56 yards.  Those are career highs for him and led the team.  And he did get 8 targets in Week 3, so he’s been trending up regardless.  It’s possible he may get more run going forward with or without Mingo and is worth a grab in all 14-team leagues or deeper.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

WR – Tennessee Titans – 0% Owned

I’m not going overboard, but with Treylon Burks out in Week 4, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught 5 of 6 targets for 51 yards and a TD.  He won’t be important if Burks returns since the Titans run so much, but he’s worth a speculative grab in 16-team leagues or deeper in case Burks remains out.

Logan Thomas

TE – Washington Commanders – 6% Owned

The TE position is a wasteland for fantasy football, so any spark is worth a look.  That means you should take a look at Logan Thomas, who caught all 3 targets in Week 4 for 41 yards and a 2-point conversion.  If we throw out Week 3 where everyone in Washington was shut out, Thomas is now 9 receptions of 14 targets for 106 yards, a TD and a 2-point conversion over 3 games this season.  That’s worth a look in 12-team leagues or deeper.
