In 2020, we were over 70% for cash lineups and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 11 of the 2021 season!

You’re welcome. ?

As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups.  Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below.  Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!

And this year, we’re also adding our ThriveFantasy prop picks to help you win even MORE money!

Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 11 of the 2021 NFL season!

Daily Fantasy Football

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games.  They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.

Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.

First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:

  • For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.

Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games.  Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.

As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider.  You’re welcome. ?

ThriveFantasy is actually quite a bit different.  There you have your choice of various player prop bets to pick from.  You can enter a traditional contest where you pick the Over or Under on 10 of the available prop bets, getting more points for risker picks, and compete for the most points in the contest.  Or you can just select two, three, or four player prop bets to create a custom lineup from the list of player predictions. Pick 2/2 correctly, win 3.6x your entry amount ($10 entry wins $36). Pick 3/3 correctly win 6.2x your entry. Pick 4/4 correctly win 11x your entry amount. The only limitation is that you choose athletes from more than one team to be able to enter.

I’ll be providing my 2 way prop bet picks each and every week!

Game Notes:

  • For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS.  We all know that the likes of Josh Allen and Davante Adams are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week.  But remember that DFS is a salary cap game.  You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around.  I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
  • The “Free Square of the Week”™ is AJ Dillon.  With Aaron Jones out, Dillion will step right into the high powered Packers offense as the primary ball carrier against the Vikings 5th worst run defense.  Following Jones’ injury in Week 10, Dillon racked up 128 total yards from scrimmage and a 2 TDs on 23 total touches.  He’s a nice value across industry and particularly cheap on Yahoo, so just lock him in.
  • The Dallas Cowboys @ Kansas City Chiefs has the highest over/under of (56.5) of the Sunday afternoon slate, with the Chiefs favored by 2.5.  This game has all the makings of a shootout, particularly with the Cowboys 10th worst pass defense and Chiefs 12th worst pass defense. That means I’m all in the passing offenses of both sides.  For the Chiefs, that’s Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Byron Pringle.  Pringle is a great value with his target share climbing in a rejuvenated Chiefs offense.  He managed to snag 4 of 5 targets last week for 46 yards and a TD, which I expect we’ll see more of.  For the Cowboys, I like Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz.  In particular, with Amari Cooper going to the COVID list, Lamb, Gallup and Schultz should get a few extra looks each.
  • Need more value at RB? Look no further than Mark Ingram and Jeff Wilson Jr.  Alvin Kamara is out again, and Ingram put up 108 total yards from scrimmage and a TD last week against the Titans without Kamara.  His price has come up a bit, but he has a decent matchup against the Eagles this week.  And with Eli Mitchell likely to be out and Jamychal Hasty also out, Jeff Wilson Jr., fresh off his return from injury, should get the majority of the snaps for the 49ers and ifs price near minimum across industry.
  • Also reasonably priced is David Montgomery.  In his first game back from injury last week, Montgomery had 15 total touches and 80 total yards.  He should get plenty of opportunity going forward as the Bears try to loosen up the pass rush and give Justin Fields time in the pocket.  I also talked about why I liked him this week on the podcast, so feel free to give that a listen.
  • My favorite TE of the weekend is George Kittle.  Since returning from injury two weeks ago, Kittle slid right back into his pass catching role with a total 11 receptions of 15 targets for 151 yards and 2 TDs.  I don’t see that slwoing down against the Jaguars 7th worst pass defense.  If you have the cap space, lock him in.
  • Dan Arnold was acquired by the Jaguars earlier this season for a reason and has a 20% target share since Week 5 and at least 60 yards in 4 of his last 5 games.  He’s a great play if you’d like to save a little cap space.
  • Davante Adams has the 3rd most targets, receiving yards and receptions per game of any WR in the league this season.  And now he faces the Vikings in what I think will be a shootout.  If you got the cap space, he’s one of the top WRs of the week.
  • On defense, I love taking value and paying down, which means that I like the Carolina Panthers defense against at home against the Washington Football team on FanDuel.  Despite the win last week, Washington has the 8th least points per game in the league.  On Draft Kings, the Cleveland Browns defense is way too cheap against the winless Detroit Lions and their backup QB, Tim Boyle, in his first start of the season.  And on Yahoo, I like the San Francisco 49ers defense, fresh off a magnificent performance against the high powered LA Rams, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just FYI, the Jaguars offense is nowhere near the Rams, so I see the 49ers defense having another good week.
    • UPDATE: With Lamar Jackson ruled OUT, I don’t mind playing the Chicago Bears Defense against the Ravens this week.
  • With regard to ThriveFantasy, I’m putting my money where my mouth is and I’m in on the Patrick Mahomes passing yards prop and Dak Prescott passing yards props.  You already know how I feel about both QBs and the shoot out potential, so I’m in on Mahomes exceeding 312.5 passing yards and Prescott exceeding 295.5.

Good luck everyone with your Week 11 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 12 Cash Lineups!
