As I mentioned last week, I like nothing more than helping all of you make solid waiver pickups in your Fantasy Football league and have some part in your championship run.  That’s just the type of guy I am.  You’re welcome.  Again.

So let’s get on with it with fantasy football pickups for Week 11!

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

UPDATE – Tyrod Taylor has been benched, and Nathan Peterman (2% Owned) will be starting for the Buffalo Bills.  He was decent in limited time on the field in Week 10, but isn’t a viable option in most leagues, except for 2 QB leagues.

Jamaal Williams

RB – Green Bay Packers – 4% Owned

First, Aaron Jones had what appeared to be a non-contact knee injury, which is now feared to be an MCL tear.  Then Ty Montgomery had to leave with continuing problems with his previous rib injury.  That meant that rookie Jamaal Williams had to step in and rush for 67 yards on 20 carries, adding a 7 yard reception.

I’ve mentioned him previously, when Montgomery was injured, but he’s now back on the radar with the Jones injury.  Remember, he had 1,090 yards and 13 touchdowns last year at BYU and the Packers need all the help they can get.  Go ahead and stash him in all 12-team or deeper leagues.

Rex Burkhead

RB – New England Patriots – 11% Owned

The Patriots backfield is like playing roulette.  You never know who’s going to get the most snaps.  But one interesting development is that Mike Gillislee was a healthy scratch in Week 10, leaving only Dion Lewis, James White and Rex Burkhead.  Lewis remains the nominal lead back, but Burkhead rushed 10 times for 36 yards, and caught all 3 targets for 27 yards and a TD in Week 10, managing to marginally out-snapped Lewis 36-21, but having one less touch at 14-13.

You never can tell, but the Patriots have an explosive enough offense that all three RBs can be rostered.  Pick up Burkhead in all 14-team or deeper leagues, but feel free to stash him in shallower leagues as well.

Jamison Crowder

WR – Washington Redskins – 54% Owned

He was supposed to be big with both DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon leaving town, but has had a tough time of it early.  But now, after grabbing 4 of 11 targets for 76 yards and adding a 5 yard run, Crowder has topped 80 total yards in back-to-back weeks after not reaching 55 total yards in any of his first 6 games.  He’s also now garnered 24 total targets during the last two weeks compared to 30 times in his first six.  He won’t be the only one, but it looks like Kirk Cousins is starting to look his way, so feel free to pick him up in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Chester Rogers

WR – Indianapolis Colts – 0% Owned

Don’t get carried away, but there were some significant expectations for Chester Rogers before the season started.  But Andrew Lucks’ injury, as well as his own preseason hamstring injury, limited his effectiveness.  At least until this past week where Rogers caught all 6 of his targets for 104 yards and a TD.

Part of the involvement may be due to Kamar Aiken’s absence, but the Colts can use any offensive spark they can find at this point, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rogers get a little extra opportunity.  So feel free to take flier on him in 16-team leagues or deeper.

Austin Ekeler

RB – Los Angeles Chargers – 3% Owned

Melvin Gordon is the lead back regardless of how he does week to week, but that doesn’t mean a backup RB can’t be useful.  And undrafted rookie Austin Ekeler showed us how in Week 10 with 10 carries for 42 rush yards plus 5 receptions for 77 receiving yards and 2 TDs.

He unfortunately also had an near critical fumble in the 4th quarter that might slow the enthusiasm, but that doesn’t mean Gordon owners shouldn’t look to him for insurance, or that he wouldn’t be an interesting stash in 14-team PPR leagues and deeper.

Dontrelle Inman

WR – Chicago Bears – 1% Owned

Dontrelle Inman had worn out his stay with the Chargers and managed to get traded to the Bears two weeks ago.  But you would’t be able to tell he was new to the team after watching him grab 6 of 8 targets for 88 yards in his first game with the Bears in Week 10.  It’s not like the Bears are going anywhere or have many other viable targets, so feel free to grab him as a WR4/5/Flex in a 14-team league or deeper.

Jermaine Gresham

TE – Arizona Cardinals – 1% Owned

The TE position has been fairly weak this season, so perhaps you might be interested in another potential upside play.  Jermaine Gresham has shown some decent connection with new Cardinals QB Drew Stanton, as demonstrated by him grabbing 5 of 7 targets for 64 yards and a TD in Week 10.

That’s a TD in back-to-back games, and perhaps he’ll get a few more as long as Stanton is behind center.  Feel free to give him a look in 14-team leagues or deeper.

Planning for the Future

In case you’re doing great and need some flyers for the playoffs, here’s one more to consider:

Danny Woodhead

RB – Baltimore Ravens – 35% Owned

Woodhead was going to play a big part in the Ravens offense prior to going down in Week 1.  It looks like Alex Collins may retain early down work, but Woodhead should slot in as the primary pass catching / change of pace back.  Need help at RB for the stretch run?  Woodhead could present an interesting lottery ticket, particularly in 14-team PPR leagues or deeper.

And here are previous pickups I’ve mentioned that are still worthy of your consideration:
