As I do every year over the last 12 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article!

I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 10 of the 2024 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running.  You’re welcome.  Again.

As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

And don’t forget that I have my previous recommended pickups this season at the end of the article, categorized by which leagues I would still pick them up in.

Last week, I made a number of suggestions for pickups, and many of those still stand if their available in your league, such as, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Quentin Johnston and Chase Brown.  Here are the new waiver wire suggestions:

Trey Benson

RB- Arizona Cardinal – 18% Owned

John Connor isn’t going anywhere, but Trey Benson has been getting plenty of run over the last two weeks.  Over that time, he’s totaled 18 carries for 99 rush yards, a TD and 3 receptions for 43 receiving yards.  I wouldn’t be surprised for them to keep him running as the Cardinals have won 3 in a row, in part due to Benson’s contributions, plus we know that Connor is somewhat injury prone, so go ahead and stash him in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

WR – New Orleans Saints – 1% Owned

With Rashid Shaheed and Bub Means out for the season and Chris Olave dealing with a concussion and at least a multi-week absence, Marquez Valdes-Scantling stepped up in just his second game with the Saints catching all 3 targets for 109 yards and 2 TDs in Week 10.  Derek Carr needs weapons not named Alvin Kamara, it sure looks like MVS will be one of them.  There’s no telling if this is just an outlier, but the Saints managed to win, so I think they’ll continue to target him.  Go grab him in all 12-team leagues or deeper as we wait to see how this plays out.

Jalen Coker

WR – Carolina Panthers – 8% Owned

Without Diontae Johnson, everyone was looking at rookie Xavier Legette to step up, and so did I.  But UDFA rookie Jalen Coker has been getting lots of looks, catching 3 of 8 targets for 41 yards in Week 10, which doesn’t seem like much but was a huge 32 percent target share.  Over the last 3 games, Coker has averaged 3 receptions on 5.7 targets for 51.7 yards and caught his first TD of the season.  Adam Thielen looms, and I told you all to pick him up last week, but in the meantime, Coker has the WR2 locked down and may work him into regular snaps even with Thielen returning.  Go get him in 12-team leagues or deeper.

Mack Hollins

WR – Buffalo Bills – 1% Owned

With Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper out, Mack Hollins ended up leading all Colts WRs catching all 4 of his targets for 86 yards in a Week 10.  Josh Allen trusts him, but he’s likely to be a rotational piece once both Coleman and Cooper are back.  That being said, for now, he’s a nice stash in 14-team leagues or deeper if you have WR issues.

Theo Johnson

TE – New York Giants – 2% Owned

As we’ve been talking about all year, the TE position is a wasteland for the most part.  So if you’re in a PPR league and need a TE, you could go deep with rookie Theo Johnson, who caught 4 of 6 targets for 37 yards in Week 10.  The numbers don’t look great, but if you ignore a Week 7 outlier, over his last 5 games he’s averaged 3.6 receptions on 4.8 targets for 40.2 yards and had his first TD of the season.  Beggars can’t be choosers, and averaging almost 8 PPR fantasy points a week with TD upside isn’t too bad, so go grab him in 14-team PPR leagues or deeper.

John Metchie

WR- Houston Texans – 1% Owned

With Stefon Diggs out for the season and Nico Collins note quite healthy enough to return after his IR stint, John Metchie broke out with 5 receptions on 6 targets for 74 yards and a TD in Week 10.  Collins is likely back next week, but with Diggs out, Metchie may have an increased role moving forward.
