If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head-to-head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 7 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 10 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season.  So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.

I had a decent Week 9, going 12-3 leaving me 89-49 for the season (64.5%), but missed my Lock of the Week with the Saints losing to the Panthers (6-3 on the season) and my Upset of the Week with the Texans losing to the Jets (4-5 on the season).

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 10…

Lock of the Week Buffalo Bills (-4.0) over Indianapolis Colts

The Buffalo Bills are 7-2 after riding a 4 game winning streak and have the 4th most points per game (28.9), with the 5th most 1st downs (184) and the second fewest turnovers (4).  In short, they’re efficient, effective and don’t give the ball away.  The Colts are the polar opposite, sitting at just 4-5 with the 5th most giveaways (13) and 11th lowest points per game (20.9) this season.  After an uninspiring outing by Joe Flacco in lieu of a benched Anthony Richardson, I’d be surprised to see the Colts turn it around against the surging Bills, particularly with a defense that allows the 8th least points per game (19.2) this season, so I like the Bills as the lock of the week.

Upset of the Week None

I didn’t pick any upsets this week for the first time, well, ever.  So no upset of the week this week!

Scott’s Thoughts:

We’re more than half way through the season. Now that trades are in place we’ll see how teams shape up. Personally I’m very excited to see the Lions new DLine.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Can’t in good conscience pick Bengals to beat the Ravens since Cincinnati can’t find a way to win the big games this season.

Buffalo has a huge lead in their division and I think the Colts are catching them in the right moment.

There’s no way the Broncos have a chance in Kansas City they just got blasted in Baltimore. But the Broncos defense has caused better Chiefs offenses problems and KC can’t dodge the raindrops forever.

Jayden Daniels faces his tougher test yet as Washington faces a sterling Pittsburgh defense. I think the Steelers defense wins most of the day but the Commanders find a way to win by a field goal.

Minnesota performances have dropped off since London and the Jaguars nearly knocked off Philadelphia last week. Jacksonville gets the upset.

And finally I’m going to give the Texans 1 more chance against the Lions. They don’t deserve it, especially as Detroit is the best team in football right now.
