By the Football Garbage Time Staff

If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head to head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 5 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 11 Games

Ha Kung’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 64.7% record for the season, so that’s seven years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  Plus, I had a 75.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 58% record on Upsets of the Week.  I had an OK week going 8-6 in Week 10, with a total of 94-55 for the season (63.1%), 6-4 for Locks of Week, and 6-4 for Upsets of the Week.  Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping now!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 11…

Lock of the Week Buffalo Bills (-8.0) over Cleveland Browns

Those Bills are really struggling, and now they have to travel to play a home game in Detroit because there’s going to be a snowstorm in Buffalo.  Tough break.  That being said, I don’t think the struggles will continue against the Browns and their 19th ranked pass defense, even with Josh Allen nursing a UCL injury.  Plus, the Bills still do have the 8th ranked defense in the league and the Browns have another two weeks until they get Deshaun Watson.  Don’t over think it.  Lock it in.

Upset of the Week Minnesota Vikings (+1.0) over Dallas Cowboys

Minnesota is playing some incredibly 4th quarter football right now.  I say that because they keep finding themselves having to make miraculous comebacks to win games after going down multiple scores in the first 3 quarters.  That being said, Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousin seem unstoppable right now and have some terrific momentum.  The Cowboys, on the other hand, are coming off a sloppy performance on offense against a Packers team that was absolutely cratering before beating them in overtime.  I like Minnesota to pull the upset here.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

N.Y. Jets at New England: Zach Wilson isn’t all the way there yet as a passer but he’s got a lot of talent around him to help and a defense that’s continuing to ascend. And while the Patriots are are a lot better than I thought they still don’t have enough weapons to help Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe out. Jets win outright.

Las Vegas at Denver: This is a battle of two teams that could see coaches be 1 and done. Raiders have found a way to lose a bunch of close games but at least have shown a bit more on offense than the usually toothless Broncos. So for that reason Raiders win!
Dallas at Minnesota: Somehow the Vikings overturned a 17-point deficit and are 8-1 yet are underdogs at home to Dallas who blew a two-touchdown lead to the pathetic Packers. This is a “they knew” game. Big letdown for the Vikings + a big bounceback from the Cowboys.
