Didn’t have time to watch four days of the NFL Combine? We get it, it’s tough to find time.

Don’t worry, though, we got you covered, because we did watch it all and we’ve pulled out a couple performers that may have improved (or at least confirmed) their draft stock over the Combine. We covered the defense, so now to turn to the offense! Got questions, fire away!

Offense

Terrance Ferguson – TE – Oregon

40 Yard Dash: 4.63s (fastest among TE)

Vertical Jump: 39.0″

Broad Jump: 10’02”

Terrance Ferguson finished his college career tied for fourth all-time in receptions by an Oregon tight end with 91 and his 13 career touchdown catches are tied for third-most by an Oregon tight end. That production, plus having exceptional acceleration and route running put Ferguson on more than one draft board for TE needy teams. That being said, Ferguson is just currently 117 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 7th TE on the Board. With the strong 40 Yard Dash at the Combine, Ferguson further confirmed his ability to be a passing game threat so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sneak up into the 3rd round, or at least early 4th round.

Bhayshul Tuten – RB – Virginia Tech

40-yard Dash: 4.32s (best among RBs this year)

Vertical Jump: 40.50″ (best among RBs this year)

Broad Jump: 10’10” (tied for second among RBs this year)

SS: 4.41s

In two seasons with the Hokies, Tuten showed well against ACC-level competition, piling on 1,851 yards while becoming a legitimate threat on both offense and special teams, in part due to impressive acceleration and homerun hitting ability on screen plays. His signature moment came in October 2024 when he put up a school-record 266 yards against Boston College. That being said, Ferguson is currently just 136 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 12th RB on the Board. That’s due more to the depth at the position this draft than being an evaluation of his talent, but with an all-around dominant showing at the Combine, Tuten might have increased his draft stock significantly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sneak up into the early 4th round or even late 3rd round with this performance.

Mathew Golden – WR – Texas

40-yard Dash: 4.29s (fastest time of the Combine)

Mathew Golden was already a significant draft prospect after demonstrating solid route running ability at Texas having the 3rd most receiving yards (987) and most receiving TDs  (9)in the SEC in 2024. On top of that, Golden was a very effective kick returner at Houston and Texas, which allows him some versatility for teams who are still figuring out their receiver rooms. Golden is currently 28 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 4th WR on the Board. Being the fastest guy at the NFL Combine gets you eyes, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Golden move up even from where he’s currently projected at the end of the 1st round.

Jaylin Lane – WR – Virginia Tech

40-yard Dash: 4.34s (3rd best among WR)

Vertical Jump: 40.0″ (3rd best among WR)

Broad Jump: 11’00” (3rd best among WR)

SS: 4.12s

Cone: 6.75s (2nd best among WR)

Bench: 14

Despite 3 productive years at Middle Tennessee State following by two years in the ACC at Virginia Tech averaging after 580 scrimmage yards and having the 9th most receiving touchdowns in the ACC in 2023, plus being an ace returner, Jaylin Lane hasn’t been getting a lot of attention from draft pundits being just 254 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 32nd WR on the Board. Well, he dominated in a full range of drills at the Combine being top 3 among WRs in 4 of them, accentuating his athleticism and potential in the NFL. With this production, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sneak into the 5th or 6th round of the draft.

Isaac TeSlaa – WR – Arkansas

40-yard Dash: 4.43s

Vertical Jump: 39.5″

Broad Jump: 10’09”

SS: 4.05s (Best among WR)

Cone: 6.85s

Bench: 17

Isaac TeSlaa is clearly an upside play considering he’s averaged 19.5 yards per reception last season playing both inside and outside and is just 272 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 35th WR on the Board. He looks to be a decent play immediately in the slot, but lacked significant production at Arkansas, with just 896 yards over 2 seasons. That being said, his strong performance at the Combine both in terms of drills and skills (including the best shuttle time among wide recievers), should put him on a few more draft big boards and make him a strong pick on the 3rd day.

Will Campbell – T – LSU

40 Yard Dash: 4.98s (5th fastest among offensive linemen)

Vertical Jump: 32.0″

Broad Jump: 9’05” (2nd best among offensive linemen)

Will Campbell was already slotted to be a top 10, if not a top 5 pick in the draft being 6 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 1st OT on the Board, particularly with several teams looking to improve on their offensive line. Campbell’s Combine performance only further confirmed his positioning, making him a solid choice for any team that decides to trade back and led QB-needy teams take the top picks at a premium. I suspect he could go as high as 4th overall behind just Travis Hunter, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.

Armand Membou – T – Missouri

40 Yard Dash: 4.91s (2nd fastest among offensive linemen)

Vertical Jump: 34.0″ (4th best among offensive linemen)

Broad Jump: 9’07” (Best among offensive linemen)

Armand Membou is in a similar situation to Campbell, being a top OT prospect that’s likely to garner a lot of attention, currently being 14 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 3rd OT on the Board. Again, there isn’t much more to say here except that Membou might be moving himself up the board to the top 10 with a very strong showing at the Combine.

Jared Wilson – C – Georgia

40 Yard Dash: 4.84s (fastest among offensive linemen)

Vertical Jump: 32.0″

Broad Jump: 9’04” (4th best among offensive linemen)

SS: 4.56s (4th best among offensive linemen)

Jared Wilson was one of the top centers in the draft, garnering coaches’ Second Team All-SEC honors in 2024. Wilson managed to log over 1,000 offensive snaps in an incredibly productive Georgia offense, in large part due to his play. He’s currently  106 on the consensus NFL Draft Big Board and the 8th IOL on the Board. But with this performance at the draft having the fastest 40 Yard Dash of any offensive lineman, I’m thinking he might move up a round or 2 and be a target in the 2nd round.
