Week 16 Games
Ha Kung Wong’s Picks
Ha Kung’s Thoughts:
After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season. So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.
I had a decent Week 15, going 14-2 leaving me 153-71 for the season (68.3%) and hit my Lock of the Week with the Ravens (12-3 on the season), and also hit my upset with the Cowboys (7-8 on the season).
Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 15…
Lock of the Week ➡ Buffalo Bills (-14.0) over New England Patriots
Josh Allen is insane. Over the last 3 games since the bye, Allen has totaled 7 passing TDs and 6 rushing TDs. That’s a ridiculous 4.3 TDs PER GAME. Sure, the Bills defense are letting up some points, but does it really matter with the offense putting up video game numbers? The Patriots have the 2nd least points (17.0) and 3rd least total yards (292.4) per game on offense, so I’m not counting on much of a shootout. Lock in the Bills.
Upset of the Week ➡ Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.0) over the Las Vegas Raiders
Have you seen a bigger tank game that the Jaguars vs. the Raiders? Clearly, both teams would do better to lose and get the better draft pick. Someone has to win, and Mac Jones is actually looking competent over the last couple weeks, while the Raiders really have nothing going for them other than Brock Bowers. I think the Jags find a way to win, so I like the potential for an “upset”.

George’s Picks
George’s Thoughts:
Let’s start with Denver who had to comeback last week but have demonstrated that they have some firepower. And that’s good because the Chargers defense were exposed by Tampa Bay on that same field. Broncos maybe open up the chase for the 7th seed by beating L.A.
If George Pickens isn’t playing that severely hampers Pittsburgh’s chances. And Lamar Jackson got right in New York coming off the bye. Ravens win.
I think the addition of Marshawn Lattimore and the return of Tyler Biadasz will be enough to push Washington past Philadelphia.
And finally the Dolphins and the Bucs find a way to win potentially tricky games to boost their playoff hopes.
