Without further to do, here we go:

Week 15 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season.  So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.

I had a decent Week 14, going 11-2 leaving me 139-69 for the season (66.8%) and hit my Lock of the Week with the Eagles (11-3 on the season), and also hit my upset with the Seahawks.

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 15…

Lock of the Week Baltimore Ravens (-15.0) over New York Giants

The New York Giants are a mess.  I don’t think that’s a surprise for anyone, and now they have to turn back to Tommy DeVito under center.  It’s not like Drew Lock was lighting it up or anything, but the Giants did have the chance to go to OT with the Saints but for a blocked kick at the end of regulation.  The Ravens have the most yards (422.5) and 3rd most points (29.5) per game and have some work to do to pace the AFC, so I don’t expect this one to be terribly close.  Lock in the Ravens.

Upset of the Week Dallas Cowboys (+2.5) over the Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have been better of late, but they still allow the 2nd most yards (384.4) and the most points (29.8) per game to opposing offenses.  They’ve had a tendency to play good teams close of late, so I’m not completely sure on this, but the Cowboys actually looked competent in a shootout against the Bengals in Week 14.  Dallas has actually averaged 27 points and 3 TDs per game in their last 3, good for 11th best in the NFL.  I think the Cowboys will find a way to win, so I like the potential for an upset.

Joanne Kong’s Picks

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

We’re in the last weeks of the season, teams are clinching and teams are eliminated. There’s enough still on the line for the top teams they should keep playing starters. Epic matchup with the Bills at the Lions this weekend.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

I was wrong about the Rams and the 49ers last week but for the same reasons I picked against San Francisco last week I pick against them again. The Niners are so beat up and Los Angeles is a lot better than Chicago.

Think the AFC playoff participants are all but set after this week. Houston will put an end to Miami’s false revival, helping Denver while they will stop Indianapolis’ false revival to help Houston.

One of the best late afternoon windows for awhile demands comment.

Here come the Buccaneers who are a bit healthier and now control things in the NFC South. And the Chargers looked a little fraudulent in finding a way to lose at Kansas City. Chargers haven’t faced a rushing attack like the Bucs either. Take Tampa.

I know you’ve all resisted in believing in the Steelers but it’s time to face it. They are the biggest threat to the Chiefs in the AFC and they are catching the squabbling Eagles at the right time. Take Pittsburgh, they are for real.

Buffalo’s defense was strafed and picked apart by the L.A. Rams so they surely can’t bounce back at Detroit. But the Lions having been dancing on the edge the last few weeks and eventually you fall over the edge. Buffalo takes advantage.

And let’s finish off with the Seahawks helping out the Commanders by beating the Packers and tightening their grip on the NFC West.
