If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head-to-head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 7 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 13 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season.  So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.

I had a decent Week 12, going 9-4 leaving me 116-63 for the season (64.8%) and hit my Lock of the Week with the Chiefs (9-3 on the season).

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 13…

Lock of the Week Kansas City Chiefs (-12.0) over Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have the 5th least yards offense (292.6) and 7th least points (18.7) per game in the NFL and have now lost Gardner Minshew for the season due to injury.  The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been dominant, but they just don’t lose many games. Only the Bills have beat the Chiefs this season and the Raiders are not the Bills.  Sometimes it’s just that simple, so lock in the Chiefs this week.

Upset of the Week Miami Dolphins (+3.0) over the Green Bay Packers

The Miami Dolphins are on the upswing with Tua back and healthy, having won their last 3 by a combined 42 points.  Jaylen Waddle had his best game of the season and Jonnu Smith has become a huge weapon at TE.  With Tyreek Hill and De’Von Achane rounding it out, this offense is exactly what we thought it would be earlier in the season.  Of course, the Packers are no slouch on offense or defense, but Jordan Love actually has the second most interceptions (11) in the league and the Dolphins defense has actually allowed the 6th least yards per game (304.3) to opposing offenses and the 9th lowest passer rating (84.6) to opposing QBs this season.  I think the Dolphins will find a way to win, so I like the potential for an upset.

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

Here we are, Thanksgiving. Scared to see what the Lions do after losing 7 straight. Home stretch for playoffs.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Rumors of Drew Lock starting instead of Tommy Devito plus the possibility of a Cowboys letdown puts me in the Giants camp.

Atlanta is in dire need of a victory and the Chargers are coming East on a short week. Take the Falcons.

Ravens defense got back on track in L.A. and will do just enough to contain MVP candidate Saquon Barkley to stop the Eagles winning streak.
