Without further to do, here we go:

Week 11 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season.  So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.

I had a decent Week 10, going 9-5 leaving me 98-54 for the season (64.5%) and hit my Lock of the Week with the Bills (7-3 on the season).

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 11…

Lock of the Week Detroit Lions (-13.0) over Jacksonville Jaguars

The Detroit Lions are one of the hottest teams, if not the hottest team, in the NFC.  Even when Jared Goff tossed a career high 5 INTs, the Lions still found a way to come back from 16 down at the half to win by 3 against the Houston Texans.  And let’s face it, the Jacksonville Jaguars are not the Texans, particularly with Mac Jones starting again.  The Jaguars were absolutely anemic last week with Jones, and there’s no way the Lions defense lets him get any better this week.  Sometimes it’s just that simple, so lock in the Lions as the lock of the week.

Upset of the Week Cincinnati Bengals (+1.5) over the Los Angeles Chargers

This isn’t a knock on the Chargers who have found their footing since the bye week as a pass-first offense behind Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey. But the Bengals are on the ropes at 4-6 after losing another close game against the Ravens, and I think they double down on an offense that appears to be hitting its stride and may get Tee Higgins back. The Bengals have the 4th most passing yards (254.8) and 6th most points (27.0) per game of any team in the NFL, and that’s because Joe Burrow is back to being Joe Cool. Keep in ind that of the Bengals 6 loses, 5 of them were within one score. The Chargers do allow the least points per game (13.1), but I think the Bengals find a way, so I like the potential for an upset.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Marshon Lattimore’s absence forces me into the Eagles camp as you can’t trust a secondary with Benjamin St. Juste playing that often.

Taking the Jets simply because they get to face Anthony Richardson.

Pittsburgh’s offense is at a championship level but they are one of the few defense that’s had any recent success against Lamar Jackson. And I think the Steelers win to put a hammer lock on the AFC North lead.

And finally this is the week Kansas City doesn’t get away with it. Chiefs do have the voodoo on Buffalo but that’s in the playoffs and not the regular season. Bills thump them here.
