In 2023, we were over 70% for cash lineups again and we’re back with more Daily Fantasy Football advice for Cash Games for Week 11 of the 2024 season!  Yes, I know that Chris Olave’s injury last week derailed a lot of our lineups, but even with that we managed to cash in FanDuel, so that means we’ve still cashed every week this season.

You’re welcome.

As usual, before we get to winning you more bragging rights (and DFS cash), remember, the point of this article is not just to give you one or two lineups for each site, it’s to give you examples of a few POSSIBLE lineups.  Getting exposure to a few different lineups is always a good idea, so don’t forget to mix and match additional lineups from my suggestions below.  Trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way AND you’ll improve your chances of cashing!

Let’s get to winning you some CASH in Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season!

Daily Fantasy Football

Cash Games, for those who don’t know, are essentially the lowest risk games.  They include “50/50” games, in which half the entrants win about 1.8x the entry fee, and “Double Ups”, in which slightly less than half the entrants win 2x the entry fee.

Since there’s so many different sites, and I can’t cover them all, I’ve decided to cover just the most popular sites, including Fan Duel, Draft Kings and Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.

First of all, as a general rule for 50/50 Cash Games, there’s a basic target of points per salary cap spent that you’d like to look for:

  • For Fan Duel try to target at least 2 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Draft Kings, try to target at least 2.5 fantasy points per $1000 spent.
  • For Yahoo! Daily Fantasy, try to target at least 0.6-0.7 fantasy points per $1 spent.

Also, starting this season, Fan Duel will be giving yards bonuses similar to Draft Kings.

Remember, this article is not focused on GPP (Tournament) Games, JUST Cash Games.  Feel free to use a few of these suggested players as a base when constructing a GPP lineup, but you’ll have to take some chances on a few low cost, upside players as well.

As per usual, I’m going to provide you with a few sample lineups on each site and give you a few notes to consider.  You’re welcome.

So, without further to do, here are my suggestions for the Best Daily Fantasy Football Plays for Cash Games for Week 11 contests.

FanDuel

Draft Kings

Yahoo! DFS

Game Notes:

  • For those new to this column, note that I never advocate against you paying up at any particular position for DFS.  We all know that the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Christian McCaffrey are probably going to have the most consistent upside in terms of potential fantasy points from week to week.  But remember that DFS is a salary cap game.  You can feel free to sprinkle high priced players into your lineups, but you can’t pay up at every position because there’s simply not enough salary to go around.  I try my best each week to provide my thoughts on how you might want to balance your cash lineups in terms of points potential and salary.
  • My approach to DFS in Week 10 is to pay up for at least one RB, then go value at QB, WR as well as at the FLEX.
  • The “Free Square of the Week”™ is Nick Chubb.  Believe it or not, Chubb price way down across industry, priced 24th on FanDuel, 22nd on Draft Kings and 24th on Yahoo DFS among RBs.  He hasn’t been terribly effective of late, but he’s clearly healthy handling double digit carries 3 weeks in a row, and he has a terrific matchup this weekend against the Saints who have allowed the 6th most rush yards per game (141.0) and tied for the 3rd most rushing TDs to opposing RBs.  Enjoy the savings and lock him in.
  • The Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers game has the highest over/under of the main slate (48.5), so there’s plenty of opportunity here.
    • You obviously can always play Lamar Jackson, as he’s matchup proof.  He has highest passer rating (123.2) and QBR (76.8) of any QB this season.  But I’m fading most of the rest of the Ravens since the Steelers defense allows the 8th least yards (302.7) and 2nd least points (16.2) per game to opposing offenses.
    • As for the Steelers, I’m very high on Russell Wilson and George Pickens.  You might recall I discussed Wilson on the podcast this week and how I thought he was going to have breakout game against the Ravens.  The Ravens defense has allowed the 3rd most passing yards per game (257.6), the most passing TDs (24) and the highest passer rating (123.0) to opposing QBs.  Wilson and Pickens have both been trending up over the last three weeks and I’m betting on some big upside this week.  Wilson is really cheap across industry and Pickens is fairly priced, so feel free to play both.
  • The Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers game has the 2nd highest over/under of the main slate (48.0), so there’s also plenty of opportunity here.
    • The Seahawks have allowed the most passing yards per game (268.2) to opposing QBs this season and Brock Purdy has been quietly burning it up lately.  Over his last 4 games, he’s averaged 270 passing yards, 29.75 rush yards and has had multiple TDs in every game.  He’s one of my favorite QBs this week, which means I also like Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and (assuming he’s healthy) Jauan Jennings.
      • UPDATE (11/17/24) George Kittle is unlikely to play this week, which makes Jauan Jennings a much better play.
    • The 49ers have allowed the 2nd most receiving yards per game (272.7) so I don’t mind playing DK Metcalf, who’s returning from injury.  I don’t mind the other Seahawks, but Geno Smith likes to spread it around, so I’ll probably fade them.
  • The Colts have allowed the 4th most rushing yards (118.2) and the 2nd most scrimmage yards per game to opposing RBs and Breece Hall is coming a little bit of a discount this week after some mediocre outings, so I like taking the discount and playing him this week.
  • Rookie Audric Estimé hit managed a career high 45% snap rate, 64% carry share, and 21% route rate. Sure, he only ended up with 53 yards, but that didn’t stop Head Coach Sean Payton saying that Estimé will get more run this week against the Falcons, who allow a healthy 129.4 rush yards and the 2nd most RB receptions (6.2) per game to opposing RBs.  He’s essentially minimum price across industry, so I like getting him into my lineups to save on cap space this week.
  • With Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid out this week, I like both Khalil Shakir and Dawson Knox and what should be a well contested matchup between the Bills and the Chiefs.  Over the last 3 games, Shakir has averaged 7 receptions on 8.7 targets, so he’s definitely getting attention from Josh Allen.  In fact, Shakir has caught 48 of 54 targets this season, he’s definitely earned the attention.  Knox will be a little more of a wild card, so think of him more of a punt play with upside.  On the other side, Travis Kelce has my attention because it’s clear he’s the top TE in the NFL.  He has the most receptions (6.67) on the most targets (8.44) for the 4th most receiving yards per game (55.44) among all TEs.  If you’re not punting, go ahead and pay up.
  • The Jaguars allow the 3rd most receiving yards per game (274.3) and Sam LaPorta has been ruled out, so I like the newly reinstated Jameson Williams to get some additional run.  He’s priced right and has TD upside having a TD in half the complete games he’s played this season.
  • Calvin Ridley has reemerged post DeAndre Hopkins trade, totaling 20 receptions for 300 receiving yards and 2 TDs over his last 3 games.  He’s reasonably priced as well and is nice option against a Vikings defense that allows the 6th most receiving yards per game (254.9) to opposing WRs.
  • As for defense, you know I love paying down and getting value to spend more of the cap space elsewhere, and this week we got a decent cheap option with the Miami Dolphins Defense facing the struggling Las Vegas Raiders.

Good luck everyone with your Week 11 Cash Lineups, and I’ll see you next week for some Week 12 Cash Lineup suggestions!
