If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head-to-head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 7 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 6 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record three seasons ago, and 63.3% (178-103) two seasons ago, I ended up with 63.4% (180-104) last season.  So that’s nine years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  I also had 85% right for Locks of the Week (17-3) and 42.1% for Upsets of the Week (8-11), so not only did I beat my 2022 percentages for both Locks and Upsets, but I have nine years in a row of Locks being over 70%.

I had a decent Week 5, going 8-6 leaving me 45-33 for the season (57.7%), hit my Lock of the Week with the Bears (3-2 on the season) and missed my Upset of the Week with the Bucs losing to the Falcons (2-3 on the season).

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 6…

Lock of the Week Atlanta Falcons (-6.0) over Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have definitely been better since Andy Dalton took over for Bryce Young, but they went back down to being what they were in Week 5 against the Bears.  Andy Dalton turned back into a pumpkin in line with his 1.7 to 1 TD to INT ratio and Bryce Young was brought back in for mop up duty.  I don’t think the Panthers get any better, and I like the Falcons to keep on rolling as the lock of the week.

Upset of the Week Tennessee Titans (+1.0) over Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have Anthony Richardson, Jonathan Taylor and now Michael Pittman on the bench.  The Titans had a bye week to try and get their act together.  I think the Titans know they need a win to save their season, so I like the potential upset here.

Joanne Kong’s Picks

Scott King’s Picks

Scott’s Thoughts:

Teams are starting to come into focus and we’re learning a little bit, but this is a big part of the season. Teams are gonna start making decisions on benching quarterbacks. We’ve already seen a coach fired so we’re in the middle of it. Good luck.

George’s Picks

George’s Thoughts:

Backed Jacksonville in their first London adventure last week and will do so again even against improving Chicago. The Bears inexperience dealing with the trip to London + the Jags not having to travel = a win for Jacksonville.

Baltimore has been through 2 emotional weeks and find Washington in red hot form. These are the top two scoring offenses so this game may come down to who has the ball last. Unfortunately that might be the Ravens unless they are spent from the last 2 weeks.

Dallas’ death march part of their schedule starts with Detroit and even though they are home the Lions will roll over them. The real question is this. Why in the world us Commanders at Ravens not on primetime TV.
