Joanne Kong

3rd Round – Pick 21 – Brandon Aiyuk (WR) [Current ECR: 23]

4th Round – Pick 40 – Joe Mixon (RB) [Current ECR: 50]

This is what Joanne had to say about her picks:

In 2022, Brandon Aiyuk had 114 targets, 78 receptions, 1015 receiving yards and 8 TDs.

In 2023, Aiyuk had 105 targets, 75 receptions, 1342 receiving yards and 7 TDs, missing just 1 game.

Being on the 49ers, Aiyuk is sharing time with an explosive offensive group – Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. But, Aiyuk has consistently gotten his share of opportunities with quarterback Brock Purdy and coach Kye Shanahan’s heavy play action scheme. Aiyuk is a solid 2nd receiving option that provides a solid reliable foundation for a PPR fantasy team. Whether he remains with the 49ers for the entire season may be a consideration, but it’s hard to ignore his production over the past two seasons.

Joe Mixon is no longer a Cincinnati Bengal, having moved on to the Houston Texans.

In 2022, Joe Mixon played 14 games and had 210 carries, 814 rushing yards, 7 rushing TDs, 75 receiving targets, 60 receptions, 441 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

In 2023, Mixon had 257 carries, 1034 rushing yards, 9 rushing TDs, 64 receiving targets, 52 receptions, 376 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs.

Bottom line, the Texans have a high-volume offense with 2nd year quarterback CJ Stroud and Mixon is a solid reliable running back. Mixon’s position as RB1 for the Texans should allow him a solid goal line role as well as a heavy workload with little competition in the backfield.

Scott King

3rd Round – Pick 22 – James Cook (RB) [Current ECR: 45]

4th Round – Pick 39 – C.J. Stroud (QB) [Current ECR: 53]

This is what Scott had to say about his picks:

After going WR-WR I needed to move on for rounds 3/4. I went James Cook and C.J. Stroud. James Cook, the younger brother of Dalvin Cook, is stepping into a larger role in the Buffalo Bills’ backfield. With Devin Singletary now in Houston, Cook’s speed and versatility as a pass-catcher make him a dual threat in Buffalo’s high-octane offense. Given the opportunities he’ll have in both the run and passing game, Cook has all the tools to be one of the breakout running backs this season.

On the other hand, I grabbed C.J. Stroud, who is coming off a stellar rookie campaign and is poised to break into the top five quarterbacks this season. Stroud has already shown he can excel at the professional level, and with the Texans building around him, his second year should see even more growth. His arm talent, combined with the Texans’ improving offense, makes him a high-upside pick with the potential to anchor my fantasy team all season long. If these two deliver as expected, they could be the keys to a championship run.

Dan Thury

3rd Round – Pick 23 – Chris Olave (WR) [Current ECR: 18]

4th Round – Pick 38 – D.J. Moore (WR) [Current ECR: 33]

Dave Earl

3rd Round – Pick 24 – Josh Allen (QB) [Current ECR: 19]

4th Round – Pick 37 – Travis Kelce (TE) [Current ECR: 32]

This is what Dave had to say about his picks:

I took Josh Allen at pick 3.04 as the first QB off the board as this Bills offense is truly running through him with Stefon Diggs no longer with the Bills. He was the top fantasy QB last season and I don’t see that changing barring injury.

Surprised to see Travis Kelce not only still on the board at pick 4.07 but the second TE off the board after LaPorta. The chemistry between him and Mahomes is still one of the most potent QB to WR/TE in the league as the Chiefs offense will still be an aerial adult and Kelce being his top target.

Ryan Whitfield

3rd Round – Pick 25 – Travis Etienne (RB) [Current ECR: 20]

4th Round – Pick 36 – Alvin Kamara (RB) [Current ECR: 44]

Kaiden King

3rd Round – Pick 26 – Lamar Jackson (QB) [Current ECR: 31]

4th Round – Pick 35 – Rachaad White (RB) [Current ECR: 41]

Will Gentile

3rd Round – Pick 27 – Malik Nabers (WR) [Current ECR: 40]

4th Round – Pick 34 – Jalen Hurts (QB) [Current ECR: 22]

This is what Will had to say about his picks:

Malik Nabers is essentially Ja’Marr Chase in a worse offense. But being the best weapon in a bad team still means plenty of opportunity and upside.

Jalen Hurts has a great rushing floor which make the upside passing production just a nice bonus.

Wole Akinso

3rd Round – Pick 28 – Drake London (WR) [Current ECR: 17]

4th Round – Pick 33 – Michael Pittman (WR) [Current ECR: 21]

Ha Kung Wong

3rd Round – Pick 29 – Isiah Pacheco (RB) [Current ECR: 34]

4th Round – Pick 32 – Derrick Henry (RB) [Current ECR: 39]

This is what Ha Kung had to say about his picks:

After starting WR-WR in the first two rounds, I went on to grab my RBs. And even this far back in the draft there were plenty of great options.

For some reason, Isiah Pacheco tends to get overlooked in fantasy. Everyone wants a piece of the Kansas City Chiefs offense, but they’d rather quibble over who the WR2 is then take the clearcut RB1. Pacheco had 935 rushing yards, 44 receptions, 244 receiving yards, nine TDs, good for RB15 in 2023, and his 205 carries almost tripled Clyde Edwards-Hilaire’s 70 carries. In addition, when the Chiefs get into the redzone, they regularly look at Pacheco as his 42 carries inside the opponent’s 20-yard line was tied for the 8th best in the league among RBs. Getting him in the 3rd round is a steal.

Isiah Pacheco Rushing & Receiving Stats
Game Rush Rush Rush Rush Rush Rece Rece Rece Rece Rece Rece
Year Tm G Att Yds TD Y/A Y/G Tgt Rec Yds TD R/G Y/G
2022 KAN 17 170 830 5 4.9 48.8 14 13 130 0 0.8 7.6
2023 KAN 14 205 935 7 4.6 66.8 49 44 244 2 3.1 17.4
Care 31 375 1765 12 4.7 56.9 63 57 374 2 1.8 12.1

And I know that Derrick Henry has been trending down and had a really tough year in 2023. But he’s now in the top rushing offense in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens, along with one of the top rushing quarterbacks in the nation, Lamar Jackson. The Ravens will continue to be a run first offense, including their propensity to score on the ground. Gus Edwards had 13 TDs last year, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Henry do at least that much. I’m perfectly happy having him as my RB2.

Jordan Alexander

3rd Round – Pick 30 – Patrick Mahomes (QB) [Current ECR: 30]

4th Round – Pick 31 – De’Von Achane (RB) [Current ECR: 38]
