And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head-to-head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 6 seasons. Why? Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys! This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 12 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

After a 64.7% record two seasons ago, I ended last season 63.3% (178-103). So that’s eight years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. I also ended up 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%) and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%) which is also eight years in a row of Locks being over 70%. I was 10-4 in Week 11 and am now 103-61 (62.8%) overall for the season. I hit my Lock of the Week (Cowboys) but missed my Upset of the Week (Steelers), meaning I’m 8-3 (72.7%) for Locks and 4-7 (36.4%) for Upsets so far. But there are plenty of weeks to go!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 12…

Lock of the Week ➡ Dallas Cowboys (-11.0) over Washington Commanders

The Cowboys defense allowed the 2nd least yards per game (266.3) this season and absolutely destroyed the poor Giants and Panthers in back-to-back weeks. The Cowboys have no problem beating bad teams, and the Commanders are a bad team. They also have the 5th most yards on offense (372.3) and 2nd most points (30.2) per game. The Commanders, on the other hand, have been struggling and just lost to the aforementioned Giants. Don’t overthink it. Lock it in.

Upset of the Week ➡ New York Giants (+3.0) over New England Patriots

We discussed in this week’s podcast about how the New England Patriots are one of the worst, if not THE WORST, team in the NFL right now. Mac Jones got pulled near the end of the game in Week 11 and there’s still some contraversy as to whether he’ll start for against the Giants. Plus, the Patriots have the 3rd worst turnover differential in the NFL this season (-6). Tommy DeVito actually looked like an NFL QB last week with 246 passing yards and 3 TDs and Saquon Barkley reminded us of the fact that he’s one of the best RBs in the league with 140 scrimmage yards and 2 TDs, so I like the potential for an upset here.

We’ve made it to Thanksgiving and there are some great games this weekend. The lions always stress me out and I don’t relax until the final snap. Friday afternoon game will be interesting as well. Bonus pick, Buckeyes over Cheaters.

Falling way behind now so looking to catch up by taking the Saints against the faltering Falcons and their revolving door at QB. You want to know how bad the Patriots are. I’m actually taking Tommy DeVito and the Giants to beat them this week.

Houston continues there mastery of the Jaguars behind C.J. Stroud’s long-shot MVP candidacy. DeMeco Ryans is the coach of the year and it isn’t close right now.

Cleveland’s just got a huge win with Dorian Thompson-Robinson at QB but that was against Kenny Pickett. Russell Wilson and Sean Payton have figured out the formula and I think Denver keeps rolling.

And finally Philadelphia puts another nail in the Buffalo coffin and continue to solidfy their grip on the top seed in the NFC.
