And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head to head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 5 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 64.7% record for the season, so that’s seven years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  Plus, I had a 75.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 58% record on Upsets of the Week.  I missed on the Conference Championships, so now I’m at a total of 178-103 for the season (63.3%), 16-4 for Locks of Week (80%), and 8-12 for Upsets of the Week (40%).

Joanne’s Thoughts:

I don’t think the Philadelphia Eagles are as good as they look on paper. The toughest team the Eagles have played all season would have been the San Francisco 49ers, during the Conference Championships.  With no quarterback and subpar officiating, the Eagles got a windfall to enter the Super Bowl.  Even with an injured Kansas City Chiefs, they should be able to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles. 🤞

We’re at the end, which is sad to say. Last week’s games were interesting but a bit disappointing. I still don’t trust the Eagles.

George’s Thoughts:

If Pat Mahomes was healthy and not playing with an ankle injury I would be confident that Kansas City could win this game. But he’s not and I am betting that just like the Super Bowl loss the Chiefs had at Tampa, Andy Reid will place the load of Mahomes in spite of his injury and he won’t be as effective as normal. Meanwhile the Eagles are healthy they have a defense that will attack Mahomes and get to him and that Chiefs secondary won’t be able to handle the Devonta Smith-A.J. Brown combination. So sadly, Philadelphia wins 31-13.
