Without further to do, here we go:
Week 16 Games
Ha Kung’s Picks
Ha Kung’s Thoughts:
Last year I ended up with a 64.7% record for the season, so that’s seven years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. Plus, I had a 75.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 58% record on Upsets of the Week. I had a solid week going 12-4 in Week 15, with a total of 141-81 for the season (63.5%), 11-4 for Locks of Week, and 7-8 for Upsets of the Week. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping now!
Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 16…
Lock of the Week ➡ Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5) over Seattle Seahawks
The Chiefs have the most yards (429.4) and points (29.6) per game of any team in the NFL. So long as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are healthy, only the Bengals can beat them. The Seahawks allow the 4th most yards (378.9) and 4th most points (25.4) to opposing offenses, so it’s pretty clear how this is going to go. Don’t over think it. Lock it in.
Upset of the Week ➡ Las Vegas Raiders (+3.0) over the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Raider quietly have the 10th most points per game of any team in the NFL and really poured on 30 points and a win against a stingy Patriots defense last week with both Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow finally healthy. And don’t look now, but after starting 2-7. the Raiders have actually won 4 of their last 5 games. And of their 7 losses at the beginning of the season, 6 of them were by one score or less. The Steelers haven’t been terrible of late, but they’re averaging the 6th least points (17.9) per game this season and have a rotating mess at QB. I like the Raiders for the upset.

George’s Picks
George’s Thoughts:
Sitting in second still trying to catch the leader.
Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets: Jaguars going on the road and by playing Thursday night they avoid the real cold weather coming this weekend. For that reason and the fact that the Jacksonville offense is red hot right now I am taking them.
N.Y. Giants at Minnesota: I don’t care about the Vikings big comeback. Captain Kirk and his mates are the biggest frauds in the NFL. Most people missed the boat on the Giants last week but I didn’t. Giants will control the clock by running the football against an appreciably worse defense.
Washington at San Francisco: If the Giants win that opens the door for the 49ers to grab the second seed and they will do that when Brock Purdy comprehensively outplays Taylor Heinicke (and thusly makes a mockery of the notion you can’t play Sam Howell). Don’t be surprised to see Carson Wentz (who will get beat up behind this awful offensive line).
Extras: I was going to pick the Raiders but then Franco Harris (RIP) passed away and the emotions of that will carry Pittsburgh to victory.
Everyone will overrate the Bengals comeback in Tampa. It was more the Bucs imploding than Cincinnati playing well. Not one of their first 5 scoring drives of the second half was longer than 39 yards. Patriots upset them.
