As I do every year over the last 10 years, I’m here to help with waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors™ article! And I’m assuming if you’re reader right now, you’re in your fantasy football playoffs, so congratulations!I’ll make a couple suggestions for after Week 3 of the 2022 fantasy football season that hopefully will keep your team running. You’re welcome. Again.
As usual, all pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.
Khalil Herbert
RB – Chicago Bears – 49% Owned
David Montgomery was ruled out for most of the game due to a knee/ankle injury and Khalil Herbert picked up exactly where the Bears left off and rushed 20 times for 157 yards and two TDs, adding two receptions for 12 yards. Even without the 52-yard run in the third quarter he looked like a bona fide RB1 in a run heavy Bears offense. All Montgomery owners should get him immediately, and everyone else in 10-team leagues or deeper should scoop him up as well.
Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle/knee) is doubtful to return.

Alexander Mattison
WR – Minnesota Vikings – 55% Owned
And another big name RB went down when Dalvin Cook injured his shoulder in the third quarter. And just as we’ve seen in the past, Alexander Mattison was a capable replacement with 7 carries for 28 yards and a TS, adding one reception for 16 yards. It’s unclear whether Cook will miss any time, but if he does, you better have Mattison. Go grab him in all 10-team leagues or deeper.

Vikings’ RB Dalvin Cook now has been ruled out of today’s game due to a shoulder injury.

Russell Gage
WR – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 40% Owned
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having issues with their WR core. Mike Evans was suspended and Chris Godwin and Julio Jones were out due to injury. Russell Gage was essentially the lone bright spot scoring the team’s only TD and leading all Bucs receivers with 87 yards on 12 receptions. It’s unclear what the Bucs receivers will look like in Week 4, but Gage would be a nice stash just in case they remain banged up, even with Mike Evans returning from his suspension. Pick him up in all 14-team leagues or deeper.
Romeo Doubs
WR – Green Bay Packers – 25% Owned
The Packers receiving core has been a bit hit or miss this season, and with Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins out due to injury, it was Romeo Doubs turn to step up catching all 8 of his targets for 73 yards and a TD, leading the Packers in targets, receptions and yards. He looks to get more opportunity moving forward, so would be a solid pick up in all 14-team leagues or deeper.
