“Pick ‘Em or Kick ‘Em”™: FGT VS. Urban Sports Scene 2021 Week 13 NFL Picks

If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head to head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 7 seasons. Why? Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys! This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 13 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 68.1% record for the season, so that’s six years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. I got back on track with 15 of 16 in Week 6 and had a little slip in Week 12 but I’m still at a decent 109-70 (60.9%) on the year. Last year, I had a 87.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 50% record on Upsets of the Week. So far I’m 66.7% (8-4) on my Locks and 41.7% (5-7) on my Upsets this year, so it looks like we’re well on track. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping now!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 13…

Lock of the Week ➡ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11.0) over Atlanta Falcons

The Buccaneers had a big win against the Colts in Week 12 and now have the 3rd most yards (401.7) and the most points (31.5) per game this season. The Falcons managed to eek out a win in Week 12 against the Jaguars, but lost their two previous games 68-3. So, yeah, I don’t think their chances are good against the Bucs. Lock the Bucs in this week.

Upset of the Week ➡ Pittsburgh Steelers (+4.5) over Baltimore Ravens

The Steelers haven’t been great this year, but are a perfect 50% at 5-5-1. They were embarrassed by the Bengals but have otherwise been competitive. The Ravens appear to keep finding ways to win at the end of games, but at some point, I think they’re luck runs out. Lamar Jackson threw a ridiculous (his words) 4 INTs in their last game, which is definitely unstainable. I think the Ravens luck runs out this week.
