Wild Card Playoff Games

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:
Last year I ended up with a 62% record for the season, so that’s two years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. Had a solid Week 17 bringing me to 162-94 overall, which is a 63.3% pick rate, so we’re in great shape for the season!
Ryan and I also broke down the Wild Card Playoff games in this week’s Podcast, so go check that out! You can also find more detail in my breakdown of the Kansas City Chiefs @ Tennessee Titans, my breakdown of the Atlanta Falcons @ Los Angeles Rams, my breakdown of the Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars and my breakdown of the Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints.
Last week’s Lock of the Week went awry as Andy Dalton inexplicably managed to oust the Ravens from the playoffs, letting the Bills make the Wild Card. Which ultimately was a good thing as Bills fans donated over $170K to Andy Dalton’s charitable foundation in thanks, so I’m clearly totally OK with getting this one wrong.
Buffalo Bills fans have opened their wallets to reward their new favorite quarterback @andydalton14, even though he plays for another team. He spoke with @CBSEveningNews about the outpour of donations from Bills fans. pic.twitter.com/isOce8Tx5X

And the Browns somehow managed to give away their opportunity to win a game against the Steelers second-stringers. That makes me 4-3 on Locks and 2-5 on Upsets going into Wild Card Weekend. Time to step it up.
Here are my pick for the Wild Card Playoffs, just for you folks in survivor pools, or looking to make a bet on that elusive money line!
Lock of the Week – Jacksonville Jaguars over the Buffalo Bills
Moneyline: Jaguars (-450) / Bills (+350)
Upset of the Week – Sorry, no upsets this week!
The Jaguars have the best defense in the NFL and the Bills are, at best, going to be with a hobbled LeSean McCoy. I just don’t see how the Bills pull of the upset unless Bortles throws for 5 INTs, but I suspect the Jags will go run heavy and play ball control so as to limit the damage that Bortles can do.
Also, just because we love competition here at Football Garbage Time, we’re once again going heads up against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks.
They’re awesome competitors, and they KNOW their sports, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.
And if you need help with calculating your payouts for potential bets, give Betulator a try. It’ll help you figure out how much total profit you could bring in for all your NFL bets!

KC / ATL / BUF / NO

Scott King’s Picks
We made it to the playoffs. Right now most fans are looking toward the draft and free agency. For those teams left, they’re eyeing a run to Minneapolis. There are always upsets in the playoffs, it’s just a matter of figure out who it will be. I just can’t trust the Jags offense and I think the Bills defense will pull them through.
