2017 Week 13 NFL Picks

If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

Without further to do, here are our picks:

Week 13 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 62% record for the season, so that’s two years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. Had solid Week 12 bringing me up to 109-67 overall, which is a 60.9% pick rate, so we’re rounding back into form!

Last week’s Lock of the Week went as planned with the Pats, but the Upset of the Week did not with the ever sliding Cowboys. That makes me 1-1 for both going into Week 13.

Here are my picks for Week 13, just for you folks in survivor pools, or looking to make a bet on that elusive money line!

Lock of the Week – New England Patriots over the Buffalo Bills

Moneyline: Patriots (-400) / Bills (+325)

Upset of the Week – Minnesota Vikings over the Atlanta Falcons

Moneyline: Vikings (+140) / Falcons (-160)

The Pats are STILL on a ridiculous roll, and even though the Bills have righted the ship ship after the Nate Peterman debacle, I doubt there’s enough fire power behind Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy to keep up with the Pats. As I mentioned on our most recent podcast, the Vikings have been playing out of their minds of late, and Case Keenum has looked completely unlike himself (i.e. “good”) showing good rapport with Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs and Kyle Rudolph. Even Latavius Murray looks good! Plus, they have the 6th ranked defense in the league this year. I get why the Falcons are favored, but I’ve only seen a fraction of the high powered offense we saw last year. I like the Vikings for the upset.

Also, just because we love competition here at Football Garbage Time, we’re once again going heads up against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks.

Solid week as well. Will T went 12-4 and Ray went 13-3. I went 14-2. I felt pretty smart this week (games were easy it wasn’t me) lol

Scott King’s Thoughts:

Well, I went 1-3 in Picks I Hate last week which means I was right in doubting myself. But hey, what can you do. This week, I don’t really hate any of my picks, which is even scarier.

One pick I’m not excited about is the Seahawks over the Eagles. I really like the Eagles this year and I think they’re the favorite to make the Super Bowl for the NFC, but I still have a hard time picking against the Seahawks at home. This will be a big test for the Eagles and we’ll see how they perform.
