2017 Week 1 NFL Picks
By the Football Garbage Time Staff
If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year. So without further to do, here we go:Week 1 Games
Ha Kung Wong’s Picks
Ha Kung’s Thoughts:
Last year I ended up with a 62% record for the season, so that’s two years in a row with over a 60% pick rate. The first week of the season is always tough because we have so little information on the teams in their current composition, but I have confidence I’ll get you all started on the right foot.
Also, just because we love competition here at Football Garbage Time, we’re once again going heads up against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks.
We made @NFL picks for week 1. Listen here (30min mark) https://t.co/QLgW5dLRqY

They’re awesome competitors, and they KNOW their sports, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Ryan Whitfield’s Picks
As usual, I’m the go to guy here on Football Garbage Time, so perk open those ears and take notes.
First, the Patriots unleash Brandin Cooks tonight and win and cover as they raise banner 5.
I like Washington over Philly in the push game. Pryor will be the real deal and always take the home team in a push game.
Buffalo will beat the lowly Jets, but come on. A ten point spread? The Bills are not great shakes either. Bills by a field goal.
I was torn on the Tennessee vs. Oakland game as I love both teams this year. I think it’s a high 20’s game that the Titans win on a late touchdown.
On the Monday night double header, I have the Defenses shining with Denver and Minnesota taking home W’s.
Check back next week for the best picks in the game.
