Sex, Lives and Football (Players): Watt A Guy…More on J.J. Watt

When you hear the words “Toughest Animal in America,” what do you think of?

In a recent list, some of the toughest animals included:

  • The White-Tail Deer

Yes, Bambi.  It might sound ridiculous, but have you ever come face to face with Bambi’s mother?  Prior to the trauma inducing scene in the movie where she gets shot?  She didn’t become the “Great Princess of the Forest” by shaking hooves and making promises about lowering taxes.  Face to face, she can be more terrifying than serene.

Deer

  • The Golden Eagle

These animals are hunters, preferring small mammals and able to take young deer rather than scavenging for their food.  Sounds like the makings of a SyFy channel movie, doesn’t it?  Move over, “Sharknado”, we got “Bambi’s Zombie Mom vs. Mega Golden Eagleroid”!!

  • The Black Bears

These strong fearless animals, weighing up to 551 lbs, are surprisingly fast, running an incredible 25-30 mph.  Let’s put it this way, black bears would be a good match for Lance Armstrong, even when he WAS doping.

What do these three animals have in common other than being tough?  Well, they’re just like J.J. Watt.

Actually, J.J. Watt might have been left off the list, as he’s more like the combination of these three animals. Why?  Well, it’s hardly serene when the offense sees J.J. Watt standing on the defensive line, J.J. Watt is a hunter that preys on quarterbacks, and for 289 lbs, J.J. Watt is surprisingly fast.  In sum, those tough animals don’t got nothing on Watt.

So, we’ve already covered the basics in part one, Watt’s Up With J.J. Watt?

But with only 70 days left until football season, let’s take a look at what J.J. Watt has been up to since then.

1) J.J. Watt 61-inch Box Jump

Three months ago, J.J. Watt attempted and failed a 61-inche (5’1”) box jump.  But, don’t feel too bad.  A month later, J.J. Watt successfully made the 61-inch box jump.

To put into perspective how high 61-inches really is, here are some celebrities who are 61-inches tall:

Take home point? Princess Leia was a lot shorter than I thought.  Or Harrison Ford wasn’t as tall as I thought.

Oh, and J.J. Watt can jump really high.

2) J.J. Watt is still a Wisconsin Fan

By the way, this will probably never change.  He’s a Badgers’ fan for life.

3) J.J. Watt is a Little Bit Country

When asked what his favorite type of music was, J.J. Watt replied:

“I’m honestly all over the board.  I think if I had to pick one, I’d probably say its country first, but I listen to literally everything.”

J.J. Watt might like everything from country, pop, rap to boy band’s like One Direction, but being friends with ‘this guy’ is a great reason for anyone to be a country music fan.

J.J. Watt introduced the Zac Brown Band at the 2015 Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards. Coincidentally, Arnold Schwarzenegger was also at the CMT Music Awards.  And, it would only make sense that the former Mr. Universe and the current Defensive Player of the Year would share a moment.

Schwarzenegger wasn’t the only notable celebrity caught with J.J. Watt at the CMT Music Awards.  Norman Reedus, aka bad-ass Daryl Dixon and 5-year Walking Dead survivor, took this photo with J.J. Watt.

I think it’s fair to say that we’re all a little bit country now.  Thank you, J.J. Watt.

4) Congratulations to the J.J. Watt Foundation

The J.J. Watt Foundation has raised One Million Dollars to fund after school sports activities for middle school children.  Way to go!

5) J.J. Watt is Just Like You, He Goes to the Movies

Okay, so it was an early screening.  But, I’m certain he also goes to the movies with us regular folks.

6) J.J. Watt Can Get You Out of Work

What do you do when you have tickets to J.J. Watt’s Softball Charity event on a workday?  Get a doctor’s note?  No way!  Just ask J.J. Watt for a note.

In response, Ashlee Sanchez’s boss, Eric Garza, wrote back, despite being a Dallas Cowboys Fan.

The takeaway point? Any celebrity that will write a letter for a fan to get a day off of work is also, as J.J. puts it, “pretty cool”.

7) J.J. Watt vs. Jameis Winston

The Houston Texans face off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 27, 2015, and Jameis Winston can’t wait.

In a recent interview, Winston confessed:

“The player I’m most looking forward to play against has to be, J.J. Watt.”

Good luck, Winston.  Tannehill isn’t the only quarterback on the receiving end of the 289 pound unstoppable force called J.J. Watt.  Watt has a total of 57 sacks in his four year career in the NFL.

So, “break a leg”, Winston.  Literally.

8) J.J. Watt’s Love Life

It’s still just speculation.  J.J. Watt has been seen with professional tennis player Caroline Wozniacki during the French Open in Paris and at Fisher Island off the coast of Florida.  But, nothing is certain.

What we can be certain about is J.J. Watt knows the value of a good breakfast to start the day.  In a recent interview, J.J. Watt described his morning meal:

“First breakfast: five eggs, some hash browns, whole wheat pancakes, a banana, orange juice, water and an apple.  Second breakfast: oatmeal, five eggs, wheat toast.”

It’s all part of a 6,000 – 9,000 calorie a day diet.

I didn’t know J.J. Watt was related to hobbits.

Bottom line, apparently, the only thing we can confirm for J.J. Watt’s love life is that he loves food.

UPDATE February 2020

I know it’s been a LONG time since this article came out, but I figure you had to add this huge update… JJ Watt is married!  Yup, he tied the knot on (or around) February 15, 2020 to Kealia Ohai after proposing on May 26, 2019.

Need details about the engagement?  Why not find out from Kealia directly!

Of course, Kealia is no slouch herself, as she was traded from the Houston Dash to the Chicago Red Stars in January of 2020!

J.J. Watt is still working hard at, and succeeding at, being a good guy.  But I suspect that opposing quarterbacks probably won’t agree when football season begins.

Just ask Aaron Rodgers.  You can “discount double check” that one all the way to the bank.

    I’ve been following JJW and it seems he has it all! Imposing, tenacious and a nice human being. I hope the PR people don’t get hold of him and turn him into C* hound in pursuit of the ladies, as it has with other NFL icons who were single, w/o a SO or girlfriend in sight! However, it will not surprise me when it happens– lets hope he has a good pair of Nikki’s on and they have spike heels !
