“Pick ‘Em or Kick ‘Em”™: FGT VS. Urban Sports Scene 2021 Week 6 NFL Picks

If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you’ve been following us, you know that we here at Football Garbage Time have gone head to head against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks for the last 7 seasons.  Why?  Because they’re awesome competitors, they KNOW their sports, and, heck, they’re just good guys!  This year we’ll have their picks up right HERE, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Without further to do, here we go:

Week 6 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 68.1% record for the season, so that’s six years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  Had a little bit of a rough start this season, but I went 15 for 16 in Week 5 and am sitting at a healthy 55-25 (68.7%) on the year.  Last year, I had a 87.5% record on Locks of the Week and a 50% record on Upsets of the Week.  So far I’m 80% (4-1) on my Locks and 60% (3-2) on my Upsets this year, so it looks like we’re back on track here as well.  Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping now!

Let’s get to that Lock (for Survivor Leagues) and Upset for Week 6…

Lock of the Week ➡ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7.0) over Philadelphia Eagles

The Buccaneers are in full swing, and although still have some injuries on defense, are also full go on offense.  The Bucs offense have the 7th most yards per game and the 5th most points per game this year.  The Eagles are none of those things.  I’m locking in the Buccaneers.

Upset of the Week ➡ Los Angeles Chargers (+3.0) over Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens had a terrific come from behind victory against the Colts, but that was the Colts.  The Chargers are hot and their offense is better than the Colts.  I see an upset brewing.

George’s Thoughts:

Sunk to the bottom and have to get back.

Cincinnati at Detroit: The Lions have been so close to winning. They are the first team to lose to two game-winning field goals 50 yards or longer in the same season. And they catch a Bengals team coming off their own heartbreaking loss. This is the week the Lions win.

Minnesota at Carolina: Bettors love the Vikings here for some reason. They only barely got past Detroit, All their losses are close and the offense is hit and miss. The Panthers will bounce back after shooting themselves in the foot against Philadelphia last week.

L.A. Chargers at Baltimore; Arizona at Cleveland: Both of these go in the same category. Shootouts where the team with the ball lasts win. I am just taking a shot with both the Ravens and the Browns (who should’ve beat the Chargers last week).

Buffalo at Tennessee: Emotional win for the Bills last week followed by a team everyone’s down on because there defense is bad. And don’t forget the Titans pounded the Bills on a Tuesday night game moved because of COVID last year. Take Tennessee.
