Without further to do, here are our picks:

Week 15 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 62% record for the season, so that’s two years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  Had a neutral Week 14 bringing me to 119-73 overall, which is a 61.1% pick rate, so we’re still good for the season!

Last week’s Lock of the Week shockingly went the wrong way as the Pats came out flat against the Dolphins, and the Upset of the Week didn’t go well either with the Raiders.  That makes me 2-2 for both going into Week 15.

Here are my picks for Week 15, just for you folks in survivor pools, or looking to make a bet on that elusive money line!

Lock of the WeekNew Orleans Saints over the New York Jets

Moneyline: Saints (-1600) / Jets (+900)

Upset of the WeekPittsburgh Steelers over the New England Patriots

Moneyline: Steelers (+130) / Patriots (-150)

This week, I’m bucking the trend.  The Pats have been a reliable lock of the week up until the disaster in Miami, and though they get Gronk back this week, I still think the Steelers are going to come out ahead at home.  I discussed this on the most recent podcast, but just to summarize, the Steelers defense is rolling right now on pass pressure, in part due to Cameron Heyward’s 9 sacks and TJ Watt’s 6 sacks, which is currently the second most sacks by a Steelers rookie ever.  Plus, Big Ben has been en feugo since the Week 9 bye, averaging over 336 passing yards, 2.8 TDs and just 0.8 INTs per game.  Add that to the fact that the Patriots defensive front 7 is seriously depleted (with Trey Flowers (ribs), Kyle Van Noy (calf) and Alan Branch (knee) likely to miss the game or be limited), and that their secondary was just got torched by Jay Cutler, and I think Ben, Brown and Bell will feast.

As for the Saints and Jets, well, what is there to say?  The Jets lost Josh McCown for the season to a broken hand and is now starting the cringe-inducing Bryce Petty under center.  I just don’t see this ending well for the Jets.

Also, just because we love competition here at Football Garbage Time, we’re once again going heads up against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks.

They’re awesome competitors, and they KNOW their sports, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Scott King’s Picks

Scott King’s Thoughts:

I’m coming off a great week and retook the lead in the group.  Things are starting to get interesting in the league and injuries are starting to stack up.  I don’t hate my Picks this week but I’m concerned about the Steelers pick and the Giants pick.  This comes down to the home teams and injuries.  We’ll see what happens without Wentz and what statement the Steelers make at home.
