2017 Week 3 NFL Picks

By the Football Garbage Time Staff

If you followed last year, you won over 60% of your picks, and we aim to do even better this year.

And if you didn’t catch it live, special guest Joe Murray (@JoeyMurr), host of the Joe Show on Boston’s 98.5 FM The Sports Hub (@985TheSportsHub), joined Ryan and I to discuss best Daily Fantasy Football plays and NFL Picks, including straight up, against the spread, over/under and moneylines, Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions, Houston Texans @ New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans and New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 of the NFL!

Without further to do, here are our picks:

Week 3 Games

Ha Kung Wong’s Picks

Ha Kung’s Thoughts:

Last year I ended up with a 62% record for the season, so that’s two years in a row with over a 60% pick rate.  The first two weeks of the season hasn’t turned out exactly as I’ve hoped, but I still have a winning record, and there’s plenty of time to make up games!

Also, just because we love competition here at Football Garbage Time, we’re once again going heads up against Wally, Will and Ray at Urban Sports Scene on our NFL Picks.

They’re awesome competitors, and they KNOW their sports, so keep it tuned in, to both us and them, because we’ll be picking all season all long.

Joanne Kong’s Picks

Joanne Kong’s Thoughts:

Check out Joanne’s thoughts and predictions for the Texans, Jaguars, Colts, Titans, Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders in her Week 3 AFC South Preview and Predictions and AFC West Preview and Predictions!

UPDATE – Since Sam Bradford is out for Week 3, I’ve changed my pick to Tampa Bay over Minnesota.

Ryan Whitfield’s Picks

Ryan Whitfield’s Thoughts:

Another solid week last week and at 70% for the year, so as usual listen up.

Upset this week – Buffalo takes down Denver in upstate NY.

Detroit takes down Atlanta in a high powered shootout. I’ve gone back and forth here but I’m taking the home team.

The Giants continue to flounder and fall to 0-3.

Titans beat out the Seahawks in a tough hard fought defensive battle, and show they’re legitimate.

Green Bay and Dallas bounce back, the Pats beat out Houston and the Chargers upset the Chiefs in LA.
