As usual, I’m back to help with some waiver wire adds via my weekly Waiver Favors article!  All pickups are available in at least 50% of Yahoo standard fantasy football leagues (with some minor exceptions) as of Sunday evening.

James Starks

RB – Green Bay Packers – 27% Owned

James Starks

James Starks

James Starks returned from his knee injury in Week 10 to played 55 of 78 (71%) snaps against a relatively solid Tennessee Titans run defense, tallying 33 rush yards on 7 carries and 11 receiving yards on 3 receptions with a TD.  There isn’t a ton of upside here, but it appears that Starks has supplanted Ty Montgomery in the backfield, which means he has value as a starting RB in what could still be a potent offense in the NFL.  He’s worth a pickup in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

C.J. Prosise

RB – Seattle Seahawks – 35% Owned

C.J. Prosise

C.J. Prosise

Being a Notre Dame fan, I’ve watched a lot of C.J. Prosise, both when he was a WR and a RB.  And since he was drafted by the Seahawks this year, I’ve been waiting to see how he’ll perform in the NFL.  We had a sneak peak at his upside when he totaled over 100 yards in Week 8 on just 8 touches.  But he didn’t get significant playing time until Week 10, where he played 54 of 70 (77%) snaps in a close game against the Patriots.  Christine Michael is still the lead RB in name, but his hamstring injury and general ineffectiveness of late have limited his playing time.  Timing is tough since Thomas Rawls is expected back in Week 11, but with his current play, Prosise looks to at least remain involved as a change-of-pace/3rd down back if not stay in a committee. He’s worth picking up in 12-team leagues or deeper, and definitely for all Christine Michael and Thomas Rawls owners.

Damien Williams

RB – Miami Dolphins – 3% Owned

Damien Williams

Damien Williams

This one is for deeper leagues or for Jay Ajayi owners, but Damien Williams has shown some upside of late.  He was averaging 5 carries and 2 targets in his last 3 games prior to Week 10, and made the most of his limited touches against the Chargers with 20 yards and 2 TDs.  Of course, his floor is pretty low as he’s never had more than 6 carries or 3 targets in a game this season, but for desperate folks with bye week issues in 16-team leagues, those who want to stash a potential lottery ticket, or those who want Ajayi insurance, he’s worth keeping an eye on.

Tyreek Hill

WR – Kansas City Chiefs – 16% Owned

Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill has been trending up for a few weeks now, but really hit the big time with Jeremy Maclin out as he caught 10 of 13 targets for 89 receiving yards, adding 12 rushing yards.  Believe it or not, his 4 receiving TDs on the season are a team high.  On the one hand, it’s result of a relatively conservative Chiefs offense.  But on the other hand, Hill is going to keep getting these looks downfield and in the red zone going forward, regardless of Jeremy Maclin’s future status.  The volume of targets may be in doubt, but his upside is clear and he’s worth grabbing in all 12-team leagues or deeper.

Eli Rogers

WR – Pittsburgh Steelers – 10% Owned

With Markus Wheaton (shoulder) and Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot) sidelined, Big Ben has few reliable options past Antonio Brown.  In the last two weeks, however, Eli Rogers has surfaced as perhaps the best of the rest, as he grabbed 6 of 10 targets for 103 yards in Week 9 and 4 of 5 targets for 42 yards and a TD in Week 10.  It’s going to be hard to rely on any Pittsburgh receiver not called Antonio Brown, but Rogers is worth stashing in 14-team leagues and deeper until it sorts out.

And here are previous pickups I’ve mentioned that are still worthy of your consideration:
